Well, the mouse put me in CC-D after Q-School (was in CC-A previously), so I finally gave up and bought an XB1 controller today. Feels really awkard playing with it, but Im sticking with it. Mouse play just isnt fun anymore.

Mouse swing is no longer an issue. Course management is my problem now, that and the insane speed of some of the greens.
Finally enjoying the chit out of the game.

I'll probably go down from Euro to CC-B. But this rather has to do with yardage misinterpretations due to a lack of practicing in the new game. The swing is not as easy as it used to be, especially in the short game, but it seems manageable in the long run. My goal will be to get back to Web.com at least, but I'll stick with Master clubs for sure.
Any other experiences?

I can hit just fine now, it's time to figure out when wind is blowing on that downhill midiron shot just exactly how much to take off with loft or if an iron change is good enough or if the wind will really move the ball. Same with uphill or even just flat. I have had gales in my face and the ball goes further than it should (as in wind has no effect) and then other times I will play for a 3 mile an hour wind and the ball comes up 20 yards short or 30 yards to either side. BUT, as IRL golf...it can be frustrating as all get up but is still so much fun and for $50.00, I would have to say the best "Grant" I have spent this year.

Playing Masters mouse I finished +4 in QS which at this point lands me barely in CC-E (assume I could end up in F depending on how many finish their rounds better than my scores). Ended TGC2 as part of the Killer Bees last season, my first in the game.
Gonna continue to grind it out, not switching clubs or methods. Like the challenge of trying to break par! Honestly, scoring really low makes this game less interesting IMHO. I had got to that point in TWPGATour and got bored and stopped playing.
This game currently has my interest, cant wait to get back home and start the season in week 2!

Played about 70 hours of 2019 with my Xbox controller on PC, and could not find any consistency in my swing tempo or path. I was terrible with Pro clubs, and let's not even discuss Master clubs. Decided recently that I probably can't play much worse than I was, so I tried mouse and keyboard. With a little bit of practice, I was able to sort out tempo and was quite a bit more consistent keeping the swing path "in the zone". I am FAR from good now, but am pretty regularly under par and at least enjoying playing. Now if I could get out of a round without 3 and 4 putting multiple greens, I might post some truly respectable scores.

I've not looked at my sensitivity settings, but I get a fairly consistent result using the mouse. I have a fair number that are slightly fast or slightly slow, but many "Perfect" swings. My biggest problem is keeping it in the swing plane.
A little background, I'm a 68 y.o. player with a tremor in my hands, so the XBox controller just didn't work for me at all. Through practice and what little patience I have left at my age, I have been able to get to a point where I can enjoy this game that is a poor substitute for real life golf, which I can't play anymore. This still gives me the experience of playing golf with a lot of the same swearing for the same reasons - slicing off the tee, etc. LOL

I can hold that a lot easier than a regular mouse and the gaming mice they have, although cool looking, didn't help with the pain. Try a vertical mouse and if it doesn't work, return it. I find that having my hand sideways instead of palm down, I have a bit better control of a straight swing plane. This is the one I use but there are many more models to choose from. DELUX Wired Ergonomic Vertical Mouse, Large RGB Ergonomic Computer Mouse with 6 Buttons, Removable Wrist Rest, 4000DPI and On-Board Software Reduce Hand Strain for Carpal Tunnel (M618Plus RGB-Black)

I was in the European league last year, playing with the mouse. Ranking ~250
This year I missed qualifying and now play in CC-E.
I no longer have fun playing because of the erratic behavior of the mouse.
I was also among the 32 best True Sim players and now, I don't even play the cuts anymore.
I have tried a lot of different DPI settings but there is no miracle. At Master level, the tempo sensitivity is too important to play correctly in front of X-Box/PS controller players.
Maybe I'll play a little more or just quit out of frustration to see my ranks drop week after week.
I like golf. I am an IRL golfer. So, I love this video game .... or rather I loved this video game.
Too much frustration. Or you have to play as much as possible in Pro, with a mouse.

So I really need help. I used to be on the Euro tour on the 2019 version. But now? :-( Im in the CC-L tour and I cant really get the mouse swing to work. It goes kind of straight but the timing of upswing and downswing is really horrible. It seems to be very random to me and the upswing goes so quick so there are really no margins. Im not sure what they have done for 21K1 version but the feeling is totally lost Any advice for mouse swinging?
