I can't for the life of me find the tempo on any of the clubsets.
I can hit it straight but I will get Perfect - Very Slow or Slow. Fast - Perfect. Very Fast -Slow <<<that's the usual one but hardly ever Perfect Perfect
I changed DPI on mouse, settings in game all the usuals but still struggling.
Any mousers finding it easy?

Finding it close to unplayable right now after 1,5 rounds, only recommendation is to continue playing with dpi/sense settings. in the stresstest i remmember feeling the same at first and then got it to a place that was usable at least. it feels so off and out of control when the swing animation have nothing to do with you mouse movement...

Why don't you guys just use a DS4 or an XBOX controller..Might be much more enjoyable??

I have the same issue, the swing animation is way too slow and far behind the speed of mouse movement required to time the shot correctly. In the previous games this could be adjusted with the mouse sensitivity setting. In the new game however this seems to have zero effect even after re-launching the game. I've always had this problem when trying to use controllers, now in the new game it's just as bad with the mouse. Also now as soon as you start the backswing motion it will continue until it reaches maximum or until you start the forward motion. ( i.e. it doesn't stop if you cease the backward motion. Add this to the fact that the animation is totally out of sinc with the mouse movement and it's impossible to play a less than 100% power shot accurately.

As for using a controller, some of us just like the mouse and keyboard on our PC is all.

I find it very inconsistent as well. Cannot seem to find any sweetspot regarding mouse sensitivity (or dpi), im just all over the place. I did very well with tour clubs on TGC2

I was on the beta for TGC2 and we had a huge discussion going on about the mouse swing. They actually listened and tweaked it for us. I wasn't on the 3 day here it is, have fun, but this is not a beta test, stress test, so I don't know if anybody played with a mouse then and if they did and did not complain then something huge has changed.

Why don't you guys just use a DS4 or an XBOX controller..Might be much more enjoyable?? How do you draw back then push thru with the controller on a mousepad? Seems to me it would be kinda clunky. But seriously, since the early days of pc golf the mouse swing has felt so much more like a golf swing. I'm sure a controller can produce a more consistent swing, but it won't feel like golf IMO. Having said this, if there is no solution to the mouse swing in TGC2019 I may have to give the controller swing a shot.

Much better rhythm and directional control. Never been able to make a controller work properly ( Xbox 360 ). Even if with practice I could, I cant see it being as enjoyable to play that way. If the mouse swing problem isn't fixed it may finish the game for me completely.

Ok, from initially being "unplayable" with a mouse, I now manage to shoot better with even with master clubs. I set my mouse sensitivity very low, to "15", which in itself helped a bit to stay inside the swing plane "cone". Another trick I now use is to start the backswing with the mouse cursor initially at the bottom of the screen. Then during the entire backswing I focus to keep the cursor from moving. This helped me keep the swing plane in the cone.
As for the tempo, it is still hard, but it is also coming. I got alot of Perfect/Perfect but only 90%/95% power.. Sometimes the odd Perfect/Perfect 100% power. I will keep hacking, I actually starting to enjoy the difficulty

I'm curious, that is 15 DPI? Man that IS low.
Big thing for is the swing of the player does not copy the movement of the mouse like it does in TGC2. If they could do that I might be able to get into a tempo, but as it is......
HELP!

15 on the ingame "sensitivity" slider not DPI Tried putting the slider at both max and min last night but the lower side does seem better, then just have to change DPI aswell to find something that fits. Havent tried starting at the bottom of the screen, felt like hitting the bottom of the screen with the cursor was a cause for some strange swings(horizontal line) but will have to try that. what i have had most luck with have been using very small motions with the mouse to kinda simulate a thumbstick on a controller and just move it slightly backwards-pause- and then yank it forwards to try and avoid a perfect/slow, its atleast slightly straighter. 90% power does seem to usually be p/p, while 100% power is almost always p/slow Cliffs, the stress test had similar issues with the tempo(100%=slow) to a lesser degree, but was also extremly easy to keep in the cone, It was definitely not something that was missed in the feedback tho since many people reacted to and submitted that in the reports. Im sure there will be some tweaks down the road and/or we will find something that works in the end.

But I pretty much eliminate that by always keeping the cursor at the bottom in the backswing, and focusing to keep it still.

I lowered my mouse sensitivity (did this earlier too) and am fiddling with DPI on mouse. Actually got 3 P-P's in a row. Will take some more tweaking but thanks, I might get a chance to play on a course some time soon. Here is what I am finding. I am used to waiting at the top of my swing before I start my downswing. I just hit 5 P-Ps in a row by starting my downswing as soon as my club reaches it's apex point. The downswing needs to be the right speed/tempo but it seems to be working now.

I use 800dpi and default (50) sensitivity. This is my method: Start cursor at top of screen, do quick line downwards. Wait a little bit for animation to catch up and then move mouse straight back up again (quick). I'll do a stream in about an hour or so perhaps to show.
