From TGC to TGC2 there was something like a month gap for them to get the APIs and everything configured. how could S4 continue on TGC2019? you think everything will be ready to go with seasons and all the APIs the day it comes out???

Confirmed from Alan on HB boards that Master clubs will not have putt preview. That is good news but obviously creates an issue with player clubs. Oh goody !!! I can see all the "Forced Clubs" threads in our future  |

sh%$ storm incoming.
I still think they will patch it rather quickly. Especially if more people voice thier opinion over at the HB forums. You can say whatever you want about HB but they do read those forums and respond . Certainly better than most game forums.

I can live with being “forced” to use master clubs. I already use Tour almost all the time. I’m in CC-A (for now, kind of touring the tours,WEB, CCA-CC-B-CC-C-CC-B back to CC-A....and hoping to get back to WEB.) To be somewhat competitive tour clubs are an advantage so I don’t mind being forced into master clubs. Will suck for those already struggling in the lower tours though.
I’m trying to not be all doom and gloom about it all though. I was in the hospital for almost all of last year (10 months) so wasn’t able to get in on TGC2 when it came out but was here watching all the drama in the 1’st few months. By time i got home and got tgc2 things settled and all was good. I’m hoping that this is all that is. Trying to give hb the benefit of the doubt and hope they make the changes in a future patch in the near future. If not, there may some growing pains here, some will be upset, some will freak out and there will be a period of forum drama but trust that things will settle like it did with the tgc2 debut.

I think the speed with which HB implements at least society restrictions on shot preview will be telling. I can't imagine more of an uproar of disapproval from the population of "feedback" they claim to listen to, so for me, I'm in a wait and see period. I think we'll know a lot more about how much they truly value feedback, and how much is just appeasement to quiet down the negative talk, with this specific issue. |

Another interesting thing about Alan's post is he said Master/Tournament clubs will not have PP. Possible sim set of clubs?
Credit to Tim AKA divot for catching that.
I doubt they made a 4th set but who knows.

My take on the master /tour clubs is Alan just used both the tgc2 and 2019 names... Same clubset not a 4th. Would be pleasantly surprised if it was though.

The fact that it is an issue to even be a simple OPTION for Society owners to turn off/on is the issue.

Yes. Arcade features are good for the game but they MUST be lockable in tournaments. |

So you wouldn't have played the TGCT Open Championship last year had it been played on TGC1, because TGC2 had been out for a couple of weeks?
If you insist, but I find that hard to believe.
There is alot thats hard to believe like people struggling that much with a swing to get demoted than when ryder cup comes along oh ive found my swing! fact is i did not put tgc 1 on at all after tgc 2 came out and the same will happen for tgc2019 even if they run the ryder cup. 😂😂😂 |

Knowing how I am when a new version of a game I've been playing comes out, I probably won't. The limited free time I have would be spent in the new game once it comes out.
Just being realistic with myself and knowing how i am.

For TGCT members. But *most* of the people who own the game aren't participants in TGCTours. There's an entire cross-section of people who do not bother with online competitions or leagues at all. No idea what input HB gets from them but they would be remissed to ignore those customers, especially if they are the true "majority" of game players. As for the club preview stuff. I don't care. Whatever it is, we'll all be playing under it here in the league and will tailor our Societies as much as we can via the customizations available. I gave up providing input at the HB forums. Felt like my ideas/feedback were never taken seriously although I believed them to be good for the game. Now i just play and not worry about. #Voiceless |
