Want to gauge the pulse of TGC Tours as best we can (via active forum members). - TGC 2019 release date is set for August (no specific date)
- TGC Tours Season 4 ends 2nd week of September
If we decide to finish out S4 as scheduled in TGC2 (while TGC 2019 has been released 2-6 weeks prior) will you still finish out the season or are you all in on 2019, bailing on S4, and waiting for us to switch over to 2019 for season 5?

Considering I suspect the alternative is not finishing season 4 at all, sure.

The two Ryder Cups (regular tours and TST) are slated for the last two weeks of September (3rd and fourth respectively). Also, the TST Tour Championship is currently slated for the third week of September. A consideration that should be made is that there should be exhibition events (even in game only) for TGC19 to test, etc. This would fill the gap for the new game. But that is my opinion. We already missed the finish to last season on all tours, it is my opinion that we shouldn't do this again two years in a row, especially when the end is so close (a few weeks) for this season.

I would want to finish S4 in TGC2 and open up S5 in TGC2019. It seems weird to finish the season on another game like we did last year, but I would like to finish the season.
I guess we could move events up so that championships, fed ex playoffs and the Ryder cup would all wrap up by the end of August.
I wouldn't mind skipping a few events to make that happen.

Games rarely drop without issues, so having a brief testing period on TGC19 wouldn't be a bad thing while letting S4 wrap-up normally.
A slight skipping of events I could accept, but the problem does occur that the end of the season is full of Majors, WGCs, and the FedEx playoffs (and then the other tours' playoff events).

It'll take HB 2-6 weeks minimum to iron out the bugs.(if that quick). We'll have plenty time to finish out on tgc2..

Many, many games get delayed too. I think it's totally reasonable to officially close out TGC2 with the full season.

What does the format of 2019 look like?... Will everyone stay on the tour that they finish on from TGC2 season 4? Will everyone need to go through Q-School?... etc...

While I've voted that I will finish S4 on TGC2, I'd say that removing Week 44 (Wyndham Champs on WT/PGA) might be a good idea - that way, we can start the playoffs (currently wk45) a week earlier (in wk44), and get the season done slightly quicker (without losing any 'big' events) - which I'd think will please people who want to move fully over to TGC2019 asap.

Finish the season on TGC2 for sure.
Doubt we will actually see the new game in August anyway

I’ll finish season out for sure. Is there any word on console release date, will it match PC? If consoles are behind PC release then it is fair to finish season out.
Recognise though that I’m all in on both the game and TGCT, I’ll play anything anytime!
