I voted no but have no objection to you doing that. Just means I'd get a few weeks off!

Voted finish the season.
Even if it's released on time there may yet be issues that may arise in regards to this site and how its integrated into our system. EG: putt preview may be an issue that takes some thought on how to deal with if its not controllable within societies. May be other little nuggets that may slow our switch over to TGC19 that hasn't been forseen yet. Will the new API integrate into out system easily, does there need to be some coding changes. Crap like that.

If this were the first time, or the first time in the past couple of seasons, that we'd been faced with the decision to end a season early when the new game was released, I might feel differently - but that's not the case. It would be nice to finish out a full season, because if we don't we'll have spent the last 2 years playing seasons that don't completely come to a close. My feeling is that it would be ideal to complete this season, then figure out and work through the issues we all know will be coming with the release of 19 in prep for a full season on '19.

Also, seeing as how HB just basically said via a post by one of them this morning that the putt-preview BS is NOT going to be an option for restriction on day 1, I think "we" as TGCTours players - not to mention Scott and the rest of the admin crew here - are in for a rough ride with the new game. The things I've read from the HB folks in the past week or so don't make it seem like it would be a quick or easy transition for TGCT into '19.

If you insist, but I find that hard to believe.

We, TGCTours and it's loyal and dedicated membership got "too big for our britches" and HB needs to slap us down and let us know who's game it is, who is in control and who controls the direction of the game's development. It started with TGC2, and when Anthony left.

Especially one that has no business being in any sort of "competitive" mode. Then to say it's on the to do list but not a priority??? Terrible.

There is alot thats hard to believe like people struggling that much with a swing to get demoted than when ryder cup comes along oh ive found my swing! fact is i did not put tgc 1 on at all after tgc 2 came out and the same will happen for tgc2019 even if they run the ryder cup.

I voted for continuing the season to conclusion. I think it's much cleaner that way, and although there are valid points on both sides, I think finishing what we started on the version that we played it on 80% of the year is the most ideal, not to mention some of the points that B.Smooth13 and others have brought up about the potential challenges that we will encounter in TGC2019. Why rush into it when we've got a great thing going? Patience and due diligence will be a virtue here I believe, but ultimately I'll support what the admins decide because I feel confident that they try very hard to make the right decisions for the community. P.S. - I'll buy the game on day 1 and begin playing it, just like guys like ijs1543 have mentioned, but it wouldn't bother me to finish out the remaining weeks of the season on TGC2 even though I'm practicing on TGC2019.

I voted no only because I am at the point that I am only playing my weekly tourney rounds and going through the motions. Heck that might come to an end after this week.
Just wondering how long it will take the site after launch to go live with TGC 2019. I remember the switchover to TGC2 seemed to take 2-3 months at least it seemed

I think we could continue with the season on TGC2 but have an exhibition event on TGC2019 running alongside every week even if it’s just one event for everyone with no cuts or anything to see how people feel about it and to give some data.

Agree with most. Finish the season on 2, run some exhibitions on the new game while the first patches drop.

Want to gauge the pulse of TGC Tours as best we can (via active forum members). - TGC 2019 release date is set for August (no specific date)
- TGC Tours Season 4 ends 2nd week of September
If we decide to finish out S4 as scheduled in TGC2 (while TGC 2019 has been released 2-6 weeks prior) will you still finish out the season or are you all in on 2019, bailing on S4, and waiting for us to switch over to 2019 for season 5? I finish what I start, regardless of whether the new game is out or not.
