Looks very good. If you pre-order the game, you can play immediately. People allready streaming. Love the new RTTS progression system. Who's going to buy it?

I traded a sh%$ ton of games to get it. So far I'm more intrigued by the new RTTS system more than anything else.

Going to unpack my packs and hope I get some diamond cards. After that Im gonna create my DD Team...Divi Divi Turtles, if the name is not to long hehehe...otherwise I could always go for Stoney Melony's hahaha. |

Never been a fan of Diamond Dynasty (or any other "ultimate team" stuff) so those packs are pretty meaningless to me outside of the stuff for RTTS and Franchise mode.
Interested to see how my maxed out 35 y.o. 1st baseman is going to regress as he heads to the twilight of his long, successful career. #HallOfFameBound

Never been a fan of Diamond Dynasty (or any other "ultimate team" stuff) so those packs are pretty meaningless to me outside of the stuff for RTTS and Franchise mode. Looks like fun to me. Never played online against other players, only against a friend of mine. I did created a DDTeam in 17 though. Rtts is still my favourite, but now I want to play online later, when I have a decent team. Till then I do these single player missions and conquest. Your player is 35...cool man...time for retirement and create a new one...lol. ImIgoing to create also a 1st baseman, Jerrold Jarrell or Wayne Maxwell. Also going to create a player for my DDTeam. |

It looks good so far....I mainly play RTTS and Franchise mode. Never been a big fan of Diamond Dynasty so the cards are pretty much meaningless.

The part I don't like is the grind of it. I enjoy the franchise grind much better. Too bad they put online franchise on hold until next year to fix some online issues the mode was having. I'm not saying DD isn't cool or anything like that. People enjoy that grind too. |

I used to be a franchise guy, until MLB 17 Diamond Dynasty sucked me in. I don't like the "ultimate team" modes in any other sports game, but I'm obsessed with MLB. I would like to work through a franchise but I just can't pull myself away. Just finished conquest mode and did all the missions to get 100%. A real grind, but you lock down 4 or 5 gold players and 3 diamond players for doing it.

Yeah, stopped buying OOTP about three years ago. Only MLB I buy these days is The Show. Even then I'm picky...I didn't pre-order last year and waited a few months to get it because the RTTS show mode wasn't that great.

Nowhere near a big enough baseball fan to buy this annually. Every three or four years is good enough for me and that's mostly because of how well done you know the game will be. Of course if it goes on sale for $20 at some point my mind might just change.

First baseball video game I have bought since the Nintendo 64 days.  The whole Diamond Dynasty thing seems interesting, but I started with such crap players to start with that I will try it later after my one game online was a 3 inning loss 7-0.  I set up a Franchise mode with the Cubs and played on the easiest (Rookie I think) level to start with as I learned the game. I won 5-0 only allowing 2 or 3 hits. So in game #2 of the season I will bump it up to the next difficulty level and will try to find a balance. I'm a total noob to some of the game mechanics as base running got me a couple times in the tutorial game I had while waiting for this game to install. Crazy that there are so many immersive modes in one game that you can tangent off on. As the baseball season goes on, I think this game will definitely keep my interest! What does the Level thing do? I am at 9 or 10 I think. |

Yeah, my Diamond Dynasty starter packs sucked so badly that I really am having trouble being enthusiastic about it.

Love the game, but those server issues is @!$#ing annoying...
Cant even play RTTS...unexpected error. Also my stubs are gone. Hope they fix these probs soon, cause I wanna play, cant do nothibn atm!
