I'm in the year 2023..and not one of my team mates are players I recognize as Blue Jays...no idea who these rubes are. How do you get the regular Jays line up that you see in the real world? Or is it because I'm in 2023 and they are all dead or gone away? Thanks for any help guys. Most likely at your point most have probably retired or been traded or whatever. However, the rosters are still a little wonky to me. I created a new 2B character with MLB18, got drafted by the Angels but their in-game roster is not very accurate from the real life Angels roster. They had Albert Pujols as the starting AA first basemen my whole first season, even though he has played every game at either DH/1B on the real life Angels. Zack Cozart and Kole Calhoun aren't even on the roster yet they've been everyday starters on the real life Angels this year. Only maybe half of the starters they have listed in the game are accurate to real life. My very first ever MLB The Show was last year with '17 so maybe it's always been like that but I feel like last year was way more accurate with true to life rosters. Oh well.

I'm sure you did but did you make sure you DL'd the latest live rosters and chose to use those at the beginning? Wondering if it didn't apply the right roster update (or one from the vault).

No...Shitcoach put me for 2 long as pinchhitter, plus those other rookies are way 2 overpowered in my opinion. More as 100 RBI in first season. Plus I was injured and I play on HOF difficulty also. In my first year MLB, my deserved award. No rookie of the year?

So I'm a pack guy... Part of the fun for me in the game is flipping cards for a profit on the market. I open packs galore... Goal is to not spend any money on stubs outside of the initial investment. I can't count how many packs I've opened this year. I went diamondless on packs... until today.
As I normally do, when I earn 10k in stubs, I buy a 10 pack. This 10 pack had 3 diamonds, including a trout! I guess I don't need to worry about making pennies for stubs anymore!

Still on MLB 17 but I'm at the point where I've got so many duplicates in my collection that I can get the 50k stubs for a 100 pack with little effort and not needing to play any games in a day or two. Managed to fairly regularly pull diamond cards and am getting fairly close to having the complete standard set of cards. I could probably just save up and buy the remaining players I need but I'm not ready to do that because I'd rather open packs.
