doubt you will make any cut mate, look at the latest torny scores +11 will put you in the hight 200 spot the top scors are a joke to the game and brings this tour in to disrepute, i may not even bother playing this Q school, AND PLEASE PLEASE DON'T GIVE ME THE OLD STORY "SOME GUYS ARE JUST THAT GOOD" yes they are "just that good" at cheating other members. Please refrain from calling guys cheaters for shooting good scores. There are a lot of great players on this tour that play legit and can shoot lights out. Heck I even shot -12 last night in 15mph winds. It can be done. Some guys are just skilled. I actually play skype and turn-based rounds with some of these guys that help me run this tour and just watch them tear up a course. Remember, we will offer the Champions tour for those looking for less stiffer competition. But the thing I have come to realize about this game, is there are guys out there that are just better. Do you think the guys that miss the cut week in and week out on the real life PGA call call the Rorys and the Tigers cheaters. No, they call them great. +100 Good post Tim. As a decent player, I occassionally shoot 62/63. I shot 61 in the Beta 2 second round, so it can be done. The key to the top of the board is they do it consistently. I am as likely to shoot 74 in round 3 as 65.

im probably the same as you buddy when it comes to shooting low scores. im quite capable of shooting low 60's (62 in 2nd beta tourney) but the consistency is not there and i shoot average rounds around the good one.

not as many tournaments on the web.com tour but could you play on the champions tour or executive tour in off weeks? There are a few tweaks we're still making behind the scenes - one will be to the Executive Tour. Basically it will come down to all tours requiring you to register to play - and you can only register for one tournament per week. If you want to take a week off from your tour, or if your tour itself has a week off, you will be able to register to play on the Executive Tour which has events each week of the year.

Big problem with this format (cross platform pc/ps4/xb1) all the let me say less skilled and more (mappers) get together and it makes the scoreboard look like a joke, i have been here before some guys shoot torneys at relay low scores, but when you play them man to man as such you would think you were playing the wrong guy because they play like nubs on courses they don't map, mapping courses is to me as bad as using a moded controller it's a form of cheating IMHO ALSO THEY ONLY PLAY WHEN THE WIND IS IN THERE FAVOUR another form of cheating, so don't class all the top scores as being legitimate it never will be unless we all play with the same wind direction, and i know what ur going to say "real life golf the wind changes" and your right but in real life tournament you cant runaway from a game because the wind doesn't suit you. Yes i know there is a few that can shoot relay low but as it stands too many guys are doing it the easy way and only playing if 1. they have mapped the course and 2. only play when it suits them and and 3. if you put in the mix a modded controller here we are.

I think it goes without saying that no one is forcing you to play in a tour you don't enjoy. I will say that we won't tolerate people accusing others of cheating without evidence (via ghost ball). Mapping out courses and playing when the wind is in your favour are not considered cheating by TGC Tours.

What does "mapping out courses" mean?

In the golden era of Links386 Pro, mapping meant pixel counting to get the best possible result on any hole based on every shot being a perfect 12/6 hit (Links uses a 3-click swing).
The way it worked was to put the aim marker on a specific object for the drive and hit a 12/6. Then once you were in approach range, place the aim marker on the pin, choose the right club, then hit a 12/6. Folks would look at where the ball winds up relative to the hole. If it was say pin high and right, the next time they played the hole, they would aim a few pixels left of the pin to get a better result. Eventually, every course in the catalog was mapped down to the best possible shots - we're talking albatrosses and HIO's galore.
Back in the days of the ELPL (Electronic Links Pro League), it was a huge issue in tournament play, very much like the Hori's and equivalent 3rd party controllers are now.
I think "mapping" as the gentlemen with the complaint calls it is just compiling information on the course for use in tourneys - "Don't hit driver on 3", "Stay left of pin on #6".. that kind of stuff.

Played 3 of the courses for q-school tonight and I pretty much sucked. At least it won't be nervous for me..whatever happens, happens. At this point I rather be a web.com guy anyway..maybe I can get a top 20-30 there.
