very good start mate i remember when i first got this game i was terrible. you will improve with practice. if you have quick greens what i do is take a bit of yardage off to allow the ball to run to the hole, but only if there is room around the pin.

"an unfortunate round on copper creek where I shot +11."
That's common for a first try on Copper, figure out why you did that on Copper and not the others and you will be a qualifier!

I played a course when I first got the game at release, PS4, +32. My highest round..I need to find that course and replay it to better my score.

I'd be thrilled even to make the web.com tour although I don't expect to. My average in-game is +8. I just played Mount Yeti Royal and shot a +9 81. That's a tough course. Of course most of my problem was with putting. I just plumb stink at putting. Although learning about the yellow marker has helped some. Not enough, though.
Anyway, it doesn't matter to me. I just want to compete. I love golf and this is the next best thing to being on a real course. I just wish I could still walk the real courses, but the sawbones said stop doing it or buy a wheelchair.

I like these courses so far. Actually shot best round of all of them at sol gual -5. Still a lot of time to practice these courses before the q-tourny. My top scores so far at each:
San Gual:-5 Whispering River -3 Copper Creek +1 (triple bogey on 18) Crawford Mines -2 Mt. Yeti:Even Harbor Island -4
Not sure if I wanna get in PGA tour or not. I'm sure I won't be able to compete with the top guys. Web.com tour might be more fun with a better chance at competing near the top each week. Either way I am glad I found this tour and can't wait for season to start.

I might have a chance there..

Just finished the practice tour set up by nevadaballin on the ps4 where you play each course twice and ended up -51.
Still cant shoot low on Son Gual (-5 for 2 rounds). I managed -9 on Black Harbour and missed 2 8 footers for birdie where it looked like there was break but went straight and only parred the par 5 18th after just being over the back of the green in 2.

just went all guns blazing off the first tee at crawford mines and was -5 thru 5 when i got abit agressive off the tee and ended up in the water but instead of dropping it left me down there and it took me 6 shots to recover ? bad times. Was downhill from there playing the last 13 holes in +8 to finish +3. Back tomoz for more practice!!!

Call me a noobie but are the tours and tournaments platform specific? In other words, if you create a tournament on PC can only PC users see it? And the same with the other platforms? Xbox can only see Xbox created competitions? PS4 can only see PS4 created competitions?

Not sure I like that, but it probably has to do with agreements with Sony and Microsoft. Oh well.
