Is he f'ing serious?? That guy has done MULTIPLE attacks directly on people, as well as flagrant racism. Including directly attacking someone's kid?! Yeah, sure, don't sink to their level, but I'm just giving him a taste of his a medicine. He's a troll anyway, normal rules don't apply... (Who posts a picture of their kid in an anonymous website to try and win an argument anyway?? Just ASKING for trouble. Incredibly silly and naive...) Disliking stupid people isn’t being racist mate. I don’t see color, I only see success and failure. The lowest common denominator gets exactly what they want and deserves, that’s how the world works. So you’re resorting to calling my daughter @!$#ing STUPID? Nice and mature of you. Do you see me attacking YOUR daughter? I try not to say this to anybody.... but @!$# YOU.

I understand the attitude of "attacking ANYBODY'S kids is wrong," I feel you, but the one glaringly obvious difference is Royce would (and has) attack everyone's kids, I'd only attack his.
(He's not a real person anyway; he's a character...)

Had little dive into the forum settings... and won't be reading Royce's trolling, petty point scoring and small-minded bigotry any more....

Participation trophies aside, why not just ignore him.
As to images of your kids on the internet, not a smart idea ever but look at the source.

Profile -> Edit Profile button -> Privacy tab -> Member Block List We had that on another forum I was on, didn't realise it was on here! Aaaaaaaaaand block... "You just can't take the truth! You big snowflake." Yeah, it's definitely that, and not that you're a pathetic ***t of a troll with nothing of value to say. For the record, I won't block the other one, even though he probably deserves it...

Profile -> Edit Profile button -> Privacy tab -> Member Block List I did that awhile back. His Hate Speech is disgusting and I can actually feel my IQ go down after reading his posts. Of course that applies to almost any right-wing knuckle-dragger, but there are some exceptions on these forums where they can speak civilly and have honest debates without going to the default Trump-esque hate-spewing. One of these days the Republican party will be designated a Hate Group, and rightfully so.

Really a hate group? Basically if people do not agree with you they are racist right. There is no way to believe in independence, freedom and less government but not be in the KKK?
I honestly think Trump has made some of you lose your minds.

For the record, I won't block the other one, even though he probably deserves it... Paul is fine - he's wrong about a lot - obviously And gets a bit antsy with us - but I think that's understandable given the minority views he holds in this thread - I empathise that he feels attacked - even tho he's not really, he's just challenged on his views. He's also been man enough to apologise on the odd occasion he's crossed the line in this thread - I respect that. Can't imagine that level of self-awareness from Royce. I'm not anti-disagreement - happy to listen to the vitriol of the other side towards us - but really not happy that I got drawn into a response to Royce's stupid ignorant comments - anyone who's been through IVF will know why it got stuck in my craw. Can't imagine I'll ever feel the need to block anyone else.

You know... of all of the debate about Trump and the "Trump Era," and how his vulgarity/uncouthness/authoritarianism is affecting this country (and the world), and how/why almost half the country worships him, etc, I think the real question is, what does it say about the U.S.' citizens? The people of this nation? Trump didn't turn tens of millions of people into racist, rude, intolerant, authoritarian-loving, unethical ignoramuses. He simply brought them out of the woodwork, made them comfortable in their own skins, unafraid to show all of those ugly traits they always had, but which they perhaps kept hidden due to the fact that before Trump it was not acceptable to brazenly show them in the light of day. Trump appealed to the lowest common denominator, encouraged the very darkest traits and worst natures of people - and the people with those traits responded enthusiastically. In other words, Trump showed the world America's true face, which isn't as enlightened and empathetic and kind and handsome as we fooled ourselves (and some of the world) into thinking it was. I think that is the worst part of Trump's reign for me - the realization that there are SO MANY uncouth, vulgar, racist, intolerant, fascist, shitty people in this nation that I call my own. It has been a very sad wake-up call. And I don't think it bodes very well for the future.

I've had strong disagreements with other righties on here, that were actually constructive, or at least both argued their case well and then it was dropped. I just personally feel our two most regular "contributors" from their side add little to nothing.

I honestly think Trump has made some of you lose your minds. Perfect name for Repubs is Hate Group. Your entire ideology is about exclusion of "the other," whatever that may be at any given time. Immigrants, minorities, poor people, (i.e., "lazy bastards"), Muslims, LGBTQ, "Libtards," yada yada yada. Intolerance and hate is the primary trait of right-wingers - that and a love of authoritarian daddy-figures.

And I'm not speaking about traditional "Conservatism." Traditional conservatives are a rarity nowadays. Perhaps I should have made that distinction in my original post, sorry about that. I'm talking about the new, modern Republican Party, which has today basically become the cult of Trump - a totally different animal from traditional Conservatism. Hell, I'm all for a few planks of traditional conservatism myself.

You do know that there are people who are not white, gay , Muslims , immigrants , poor people who vote Republican. I guess they hate themselves according to you.
IMOP you are no better than Trump by labeling a huge part of the population because they do not agree with everything you do.

While I agree with some of this.... still feel the vast majority of American's - certainly the ones I know - are tolerant and welcoming. The racist, belligerent, intolerant, stupid ones that Trump has given carte blanche to... do probably number in their tens of millions... but don't forget they are still a minority (albeit a bloody loud one). It's exactly the same over here since Brexit. The people that hold those views existed - they now feel like they have been given a free pass to express them publicly. We have a French sticker on our car - because we go there a lot - since Brexit we get people shouting at us to go back home. It's not just the intolerence - its' the utter stupidity that almost always goes hand-in-hand with it that I find so striking. Which is just more evidence that education should always be our number one priority.
