Someone help me out with Kamala Harris. I keep hearing she is "African American" but her father is from Jamaica and her mom is from India. Neither of those countries are in Africa.... ? She also apparently lived in Montreal from the age of 7 until 16. Don't worry. If she mounts a serious campaign I'm sure Trump will let you know all about where he thinks her origins are to help clear this up for you. Spoiler alert: It won't be the USA. Seeing as she was born in Oakland, anything DT has to say will be FAKE

It's amazing how a defeated entity such as ISIS keeps attacking people. The White House may want to look up the definition of the word "defeated".

Now just imagine for a second that let's say, China or Russia recognized Clinton, Sanders or Jill Stein as the official president of the US. What would be the reaction?
Maduro's response hits the right note.

I am not following the Venezuela situation so closely over the last months, but considering Canada, Peru, Colombia, and Brazil also recognized Guaido as interim president I do not think this is some kind of Trump stunt.
I hope for the sake of all the poor souls who live there that they can avoid a civil war.

Maduro is grade A !%$# and no mistake. The whole situation has been exacerbated by foreign involvement tho - sanctions do not help overthrow regimes, they just punish the populace. Not sure what good recognising a different president would do either - anyone enlighten me on the intended goal?

A huge majority of the populace are fully behind Maduro. There's not much chance of a civil war as such, very likely to see clashes between the two factions but the right simply don't have the numbers to produce an effective coup or what not. Western media love to paint it as though there will be some big movement that wants to overthrow a LEGITIMATE leader but thats what always happens, right? To try and drum up support. In a nutshell, western governments are attempting to install a puppet government in Venezuela to claw back control of the country from the left and I've no doubt that oil is one of the biggest reasons. Venezuela oil rich and in a very convinient geographical location for the US. As expected, the Venezuelan military have come out in defense of Maduro and are willing to do anything to protect the Bolivarian revolution from being thwarted by foreign powers.

His popularity is fueled by the foreign sanctions tho - every time a new one is introduced, his popularity got a nice bump. Hardly surprising - sanctions punish the populace - so as their disapproval of those actions ties in with their leader's disapproval - so their affinity with their leader grows. The blessing he got from Chavez endures of course. But I think it's clear that he's badly mismanaging the country and it's economy. You've heard of the "Maduro diet"?... www.nytimes.com/2018/05/18/world/americas/venezuela-election-president-maduro-food.htmlI'm not saying US/other foreign powers should act to overthrow him - that's up to the people to vote him out. But the sanctions are counter productive - stop them and watch his popularity start to fall.

Logically thinking, Venezuela wouldn't have the food shortages it has if it wasn't for sanctions and uncooperative countries who against a redistribution of wealth to the poorer people of Venezuela. No country is on earth is self sufficient for food. So if there were no sanctions and a steady supply of food was entering into Venezuela, I don't see how Maduro would be unpopular. Even with how low things have gotten today in Venezuela. The average Venezuelan is still better off than they were before the Bolivarian revolution started, and that speaks volumes about how bad things were under a right wing government in Venezuela!

Before the election, i was asking people - including in here - what made them think that some rich dude living in a gold plated New York City penthouse in a building he owns could relate to them and their needs. The consensus answer was "don't care, we just hate Hillary".
Wilbur Ross, Lara Trump, Rick Santorum and Benedict Donald (among others) made my point over the last 24 hours.
All I ask of those who voted for him the first time is to not vote for him again. Please.

Keep Clinton out of the picture, don't be afraid of challenging the political mainstream and talk about the daily struggles of the average worker. You'll be sure to claw back some territory.

Roger Stone next to go down then - lying, obstructing justice and witness tampering.
For a fake news witch hunt - there sure are more concrete charges and convictions happening than you’d expect 😂

And if you don't know who Roger Stone is, but you are interested in politics - specifically, the dark-side of politics and how it can be used to manipulate - find "Bring Me Roger Stone" on Netflix. Watched it a long time ago when I had never heard of his name, and damn, he's a scumbag if I've ever seen one. Just a really, really...really shitty human being, everything coming to him is deserved.
