I normally revert to using rewainds for Monaco, about 4000 of them!

Success in Monaco is all about tire choice - make sure you choose the softest compound and tie a few tires onto your side pods, and on front/rear of the car. You'll be good to go!

First race of the season in my online league at Australia tonight. Going to be quite competitive this year from what I've seen in the exhibition events. 6pm PST! I'll put it up on youtube after, but some pit crew help would be great!

Maybe stream some practice laps in afternoon, so we can get setup down? |

Moved up to 6th within a few laps due to people not being able to stay on the road...but a spin out, a pit stop for the wrong tires and another spinout ended my race early. |

All good learning - it's a long season! I'm more of a hot lapper - consistency over many laps not my strong point... |

I like the 5 lap races although people become torpedos in that pretty frequently. |

Giving this a bump....
CM F1 2016 still my all-time favourite F1 racing franchise! Not absolute perfection, but pretty darn close...
Project Cars 2 is more realistic in terms of car setup science, and thus both more complex — and frustrating/rewarding. But somehow, F1 2016 is just more “fun”, while still being a challenge.

I'm still playiing F1 2016, great game. I will buy 2017 at some point but I want to play a few more seasons first, I don't play too often as I rarerly have enough time. Project Cars 2 is on my radar.

It’s hard to quantify, but car setup requirements in PC2 are about 5x more complex and difficult than F1 2016. Car handling physics are somewhat better in PC2, and the variety of vehicles is pretty darn good. PC GUI is kinda meh, but I can live with it. One thing PC does not have is rewinds. If you thrash your wing on lap 6 of a 25 lapped, you’re toast, or starting over from the beginning. ☹️ Still, F1’s my “go to” racing title, but I’m like you.....short on time to do it regularly. |
