So, where do we sign our scorecards?

So if we already have our card then there's no need to do anything different? Now you don't need to manually register or manually submit scores - just play when you can. Also will there be an option to switch tours at some point? Currently we are not allowing crossovers - I'll talk more with Tim and see what options we have - we believe it's still possible but want to get out of the gates first. So with the wgr points for the tours being different and no crossover allowed the strength of field is in PGA's favour? Can't see the top dogs in Euro being pleased with that

Question: What is the criteria for placing new members? Kind of a more detailed question. Is there a # of strokes above a certain benchmark to make PGA/Euro then another % for Web, etc. down to marks below for CC-Am level tours, etc? Initially it will be (but open to tweaking as needed) Take CC-Pro exemption line score Cutlines placed: PGA Tour (110% of CC-Pro exemption line score ) Web Tour (100%) CC-A (75%) CC-B (50%) CC-C (25%) CC-D (0%) everyone else to CC-E - Still more details to be coded in - this isn't 100% completed yet - will update as it is in place Oh NO! Is my planet Z going the way of Pluto?

This is great news, do we have a start date yet tho? And do I have to register for the q school part of cc-pro? Or will it pick up that I do not have a tour card and be sorted into the q school automatically? I currently already play in both cc-pro and cc-am societies, so I would just keep on playing the way I do and will receive a tour card when this starts up?

Just sent an email to commish, I'm curious as to whether I still hold a card or not. I was a naughty boy and didn't play for ages.in the rules it states that if you don't play for 5 weeks then you lose your card. Checking in the CC players section of the website though I'm still classed as a CC player. Unsure as to whether I need to go back to Q school or not

I have a question, regarding the Doyley kisses is the plan to keep the demotion system from the Pro tours in place from now on or is it just a short term thing while people find their level?
I like the idea of keeping it myself. For people like me who regularly flirt with the cut line it will add a bit of excitement, plus for those who make the top tour on the back of a great week and then eternally struggle it'll make their escape a bit easier.

Mandatory Tour Clubs for PGA/European Tours
- Tour clubs are mandatory on the PGA and European Tours
- All other club types (Tour, Player, Standard) are viable options for the Web.com Tour and Challenge Circuit
- Email commish@tgctours.com if you are a current PGA/Euro player that wants to drop to Web.com Tour to use Player Clubs - we'll review it and process asap
what exactly are the reasons for this? fairplay? imho this will lead to the opposite of fairplay.

Ok Email sent, i want to have the option to continue playing with Players clubs, it is what i enjoy, and enjoyment is why i play this game, so if WEB is the only tour i can use players clubs then that is where i will play, if i play too well on WEB and am forced to move back to EURO then i guess i am done for....i think this is a really poor decision enforcing clubs on people especially when the advantages are supposably with the TOUR clubs anyway....

For those on the EURO/PGA tour who don't want to use Tour clubs, it might be good to offer them a one time auto demotion so they don't have to wait 5 weeks by playing a tournament with one stroke to get the demotion. Just a thought. I'd be up for one of those. I'd struggle to make cuts on Player. I've got no chance on Tour! I'm in the same boat. The top players are still shooting pretty much the same scores they were on TGC1 but I can't even get under par most rounds with the Tour Clubs so I'd have to just play out 5 weeks waiting for a demotion which wouldn't be much fun.

If tour clubs are such an advantage over player clubs, won't the top of the Web Tour leaderboard be dominated with tour club players?. So premotion for people to PGA/European won't be a problem

what exactly are the reasons for this? fairplay? imho this will lead to the opposite of fairplay. Indeed. The clubsets are good equalisers but now everyone is being forced to be a big hitter. All this does is kill the prudent, less riskier player and force them to play more aggressively. Whilst we're at it let's kill the less riskier putter too - if you don't go past the hole when you miss your putt you are banned lol.
