I assume if we fancy crossing over one week we can withdraw and then register for that week on the other tour?

For those on the EURO/PGA tour who don't want to use Tour clubs, it might be good to offer them a one time auto demotion so they don't have to wait 5 weeks by playing a tournament with one stroke to get the demotion. Just a thought. I'd be up for one of those. I'd struggle to make cuts on Player. I've got no chance on Tour! If I were in your shoes, I would not even carry a Driver. Using a 2W or a 3W as your top club may help you and/or some of those struggling with Tour clubs. Just keep in mind that the 2W in particular is very difficult to handle off of the fairway.

So if we already have our card then there's no need to do anything different? Now you don't need to manually register or manually submit scores - just play when you can. Also will there be an option to switch tours at some point? Currently we are not allowing crossovers - I'll talk more with Tim and see what options we have - we believe it's still possible but want to get out of the gates first.

Is the leaderboard going to show someone as being DQ'd? I think we know the crapshow that will ensue if that happens.
Also will the private board that players are sent the email link to be visible to everyone who gets an email, or will it be Straight Shooters Anonymous so people can't out others?

I keep adding tidbits as I think of them - once I'm happy I've got it all out, I'll post a link on the main page as well as email blast it out - likely sometime tomorrow. Until then, enjoy refreshing!

Yes - there are multiple reasons you could see a DQ on the boards - none of them are reason to call anyone a cheater - public accusations on the forums will be met with swift timeouts and possible tour timeouts. Also will the private board that players are sent the email link to be visible to everyone who gets an email, or will it be Straight Shooters Anonymous so people can't out others? The way the private boards work is a user only sees threads they create - admin team will see all threads.

A more obvious question, but I still need to ask:
On those events with a cutline... If the field is 145+ and beyond, will the cutline remain at 70 with ties, or will it move?

If the field is 145+ and beyond, will the cutline remain at 70 with ties, or will it move? pro tour cuts will always be 70+ties. The double strike lines will help speed up the demotions should the fields get too big.

People are going to show up as DQ'd on leaderboards. This can mean that they were DQ'd be the system for not finishing their rounds or an admin stepped into DQ them for another reason. No way to really hide their names so I imagine that the admins are going to be patrolling the forums with the heavy banhammer to keep things line as Jeff stated, a person who is found out of compliance is not necessarily cheating. I hope that at least until we get a few weeks in and people are able to make adjustments, many probably have no idea that they have to make or how to make, we can be a little civil. 5-6 weeks in, a little different story.

I have to push the boundaries with some questions as I see they can become an issue with 1000s of members.
Regarding the auto-registering and automatically pulling of scores... What is the policy for users with the game on multiple systems? Will it pull results from the first played? Will there be a DQ issued if they play it on more than one system for the week?

I'm guessing there's not going to be a policy for wind waiting, pretty much have to suck it up until/if it gets fixed?
