I was planning to buy the Nacon Revolution Pro Controller, cause it have some advantage for racing games and elite dangerous wich I play. Its a legal controller and its allowed in E-Sports. How is this related to TGC2? You can adjust the deadzone on the leftstick and rightstick 46° amplitude for advanced accuracy. Dont think it will be considered as a cheatcontroller for TGC2 is it? Cause...what will the deadzone do with the swing? Never understood deadzone anyway.

Could be that you cant swing properly after deadzone adjustment, could be that you become a straight shooter. Deadzone is usually just how far from center you need to move the stick for it to register a movement.

Losing track of this thread as 10 pages are added overnight.
Let's just decide and start. Over it.

I am a PC player using a mouse. I have been a CC-C or CC-B category since joining, and have won one tournament in 2 years. I am not especially computer literate.
I was a "Beta" tester for TGC2 and could not hit the ball straight ever, I was using the same equipment as when playing TGC1, so I stopped trying to play the TGC2 beta.
My pc was 8 years old and being a dedicated Flight simmer I had a new PC built in June this year to allow me to move up to a new flight sim and hopefully allow me to play TGC2 with a better graphics card and processor.
Using the new computer and mouse and mouse mat TGC2 became very playable for me, I was usually hitting straight and my putting was ok, The short game was and is still a learning process.
Recently i disconnected my monitor to reconnect to my old computer for a day.
When I re connected the monitor to my new PC and played TGC2 my game was haywire, Not one ball could I hit straight. Checking my resolution I discovered I had not connected the monitor to my Nvidea card but to the other connection (Motherboard?)
Once the monitor was connected to the Nvidea card the game became playable again for me.
I have no idea about "dpi" or mouse settings all I know is my swing is usually consistent with my having a smooth and short backswing with a very small pause at the top of the swing.
I am not a cheater and just play to enjoy the game, but it looks like i will just be playing community events or playing outside of TGCT if some of the previous ideas are implemented regarding controllers etc, BTW, I use the Player clubs

You keep dreaming, Andrew!
More serious question, do we have a rough idea of when the season will start? Two, three, four weeks?

A motherboard probably doesn't have either of these but the graphics card/monitor would have one of them. It basically syncs the refresh rate of the monitor to the graphics card. If one is higher than the other, in this case the monitor probably was much higher than the port on your motherboard, you can get stuttering and very wild Frames per second. Since the swing is tied directly to Frames per second, you probably couldn't get any stability or tempo. Once you put the monitor back into the GPU, G-sync or vertical sync was re-enabled and your FPS was stabilized. If I update the drivers on my Graphics card I have to go back into the Nvidia panel to turn off and turn on G-sync, otherwise my monitor will be rendering at 60 FPS while my GPU is doing so at 100+. They aren't in sync and the tempo will be off. This is a good way if anyone is playing on the PC to make sure everything is in sync after a driver update if you have G-sync. A restart also helps.

If you really want a level playing Field, make it a rule that only stock controllers are allowed and disallow all third party controllers and all mice.
You have a great idea of what legit top players look like with stock controllers, so flag anything and everything that looks vastly different and take it case by case.
The only drawback to this is the small % of players who do not use stock controllers would be upset. I would guess between 10-20% are not using stock controllers game wide. Maybe wrong and too low of a % but most of those do indeed own stock controllers and would have no issues switching, and for the most part, the ones who do have issues are ones who either can't buy one or they don't want to buy one because they would rather keep easy hitting

Are there Xbox / PS4 stock controllers that actually work on a PC? I thought only things like Microsoft, logitech and some DS can work on PC and even then some need extra software to run at all with all the proper buttons working n such. If this is a case banning all but stock, then pretty much eliminates many top players, including one admin who might turn very cranky.

Stock controllers are the one's that come with an XB1 or PS4. These can be used on PC. I use my XB1 controller with a Micro USB cable. Fairly easy. Are you telling me you didn't know people could do this?
