I haven't read the entire 19 pages of this thread...
Looking at the data, it would appear to me that anyone being able to replicate the same shot somehow is manipulating the system.
The only plausible route, with the least amount of migraines for the admins is to insist that stock controllers are used on the PS4 and XB1. I have no suggestions for mouse players on the PC.

Interesting tidbit - one of the Players A-I that had consistent results for all previous events now has a totally different shot spread in the most recent event (after this post went up). Did their scores get better? I certainly noticed someone who had been having very consistent results perform worse this week. Maybe a drop in form, maybe not..... |

Saw the writing on the wall and adjusted his dpi settings or stopped using his hori, this thread is starting to work already. |

Guys...let's stay on topic. We don't need to discuss penalties in this thread. We don't need to branch into why people might cheat, etc. This isn't about any of that. What we want to determine is whether the community wants us to just filter our obvious cheaters or do we also want to filter out players with an input device advantage? That's really what this exercise is about. 95% of all players are on the same playing field. But then there are the outliers I've posted in the first thread. Some of these are cheaters but many are not. Many are just players that appear to have an input device advantage. Question is...what does the community want? And where do we draw the lines? Anyone with an input device advantage should be filtered out. Technically any controller, keyboard, mouse or guitar is an input device. Going to make the game really hard to play! I want a guitar. Maybe i can hook up my raspberry pi and rig up something using my old atari 2600 controller! |

This thread sure has gotten quiet all of the sudden.. I guess some of the really good players are removing the rails from their controllers right about now.. Ha

Why don't you just ban this person straight away and set an example, doesn't matter if it wasn't an official event. This person is playing here and is probably ruining peoples societies too.
