I was under the impression that you could only mess with Bluetooth on the "slim". Not SlimPat, but the slim PS4. Not the fatty. No matter WHICH controller you were using. Either way, I play on a Pro and can't seem to gather much of a difference in corded or not. However, I might be onto something within the swing itself. It's something that Mitch had mentioned awhile back. Message me if interested, edi_vedder .

Plugging in eliminates blue tooth. I have tried both and there are times when I would get serious delay with BT. Plugged in its very consistent and I am actually getting a good feel for the PS4 controller.

Seems plugging in does nothing as you are still on Bluetooth. ?? On PS4 Pro you can disable bluetooth.

Interestingly I treated myself to a new PS4 controller yesterday so did some testing last night in career mode.
First of all the course was quite difficult (tight fairways and really unkind greens) so I wasn't overly fussy about the actual scores. However, placebo effect or not, I definitely hit the ball a bit straighter than normal and, most interestingly for me, shots from the rough and bunkers were much easier as a result - i.e. I was able to hit the ball further so able to reach greens I couldn't before if I'd missed the fairway.
The problem I do have now though is my draw is slighter and less consistent so ironically I'm less accurate from the tee as I'm not sure whether or not to shape my drives as I did before. However, all things considered I think should be able to address that over the next few weeks or so.

I'm actually pretty straight with my swing on my used DS4 controller (Generation v1; not plugged in), and I hope it's going to stay like that.
But there was a special offer on Amazon for a v2 controller so I decided to get one there as I will need him one day anyway. So I was really looking forward to try that new controller in TGC2, but my anticipation faded away pretty quickly:
Sprayed it all over the place! And if I say I shanked it everywhere, I mean it!!!
I've not tried yet to turn off Bluetooth and plug it into my PS4. I will test that one day when I find the time. But so far, that new controller/stick didn't help my game at all.

No idea about how it effects TGC, but on PC using a cord definitely has less lag, have noticed it on other games.
