Last night I plugged my ps4 controller into the console and played my best golf to date with the tour clubs. Did I just play better or does this really help? Anyone? Just a couple of what I thought were glitches.

It definitely helps. Takes Bluetooth latency out of the equation. So the only glitches are server/frame rate issues.

I ordered a 10 foot cord and ODDLY, have not crashed once corded and every round uncorded. Probably a coincidence. More rounds are needed.

Since I play with my PS4 controller plugged in the console, I play way better. Yesterday I bought a new charging cable for my PS4. Its a coated and high speed charging cable and comes with two thumbsticks for extra grip.
Im trying to put a link, but it doesnt work.

I'll need to give that a shot on PC. Whenever I turn the game on there's approximately a 50% chance I won't be able to play because I can't hit anything straight. The other 50% I can hit just fine. Maybe Bluetooth latency is causing the trouble...I haven't been able to pin it on anything else.

I had a blue screen crash literally every round. Plugged in and 6 rounds, one crash. One problem - puppy loves to chew on the cord

Okay... so you all wanna tell me I need to get a longer cable for my PS4 controller to hit my Tour Clubs straighter and more consistent? Seriously, @!$# that! This is just stupid. But I'm going to try this (finally) with my short cable before I do so.

I play with my PS4 controller plugged in on the PC - after going wild one night this seemed to fix it. Not unplugged it since.
Think it might just be the placebo effect tho.
Good video here with some actual tests that appear to show no difference in latency between wired/bluetooth connection...

Don't under-estimate the placebo effect chaps - it's effects are undeniably real. Even if the actual cause is not

I use a cord, I can't tell the difference but it's a better reaction (if that a good word) then wireless, so I was told.

Seems plugging in does nothing as you are still on Bluetooth. ??
