Strange, I have played with tour clubs on Pro from day 1 without the cord attached. I assumed the banana swings early on were down to me and I can pretty much keep the shot in the cone 95% of the time from a flat lie now after playing so many rounds. If I am on the side of a cliff or in a bunker, that's a different story, but that's how the game plays.
I might connect the controller up next time and see if it's any different. I don't doubt some folks are having issues, but I am just bemused by it all and wonder if my pro is just special, or maybe it's just me LOL.
My bad scores are down to me not the game, or so I thought.

Definitely in your imagination. Plugged a cord in, turned off Bluetooth and was all over the place. Hate having a cord attached.
Back to Bluetooth and just knocked an eagle in on the web tour, so wonky swing or not, it's the future.
Nothing wrong with the swing on Pro, for me anyway.

I have at least 10 different Bluetooth devices in that room alone and probably 20 scattered throughout the house (I am an electronics addict). But I would assume that at least some of the other people that are complaining of the same thing have something unique to their situation going on (interference, poor Bluetooth connections, etc.). Besides, you know me. I am not at all new to this game, and have probably logged more hours on TGC2 than 80-90% of the people out there excluding those that were in the beta.

Yup i bought a decent cord....no difference imo...is the time u play that bugs me. Anyhoo...the game is great when your adjusting to ya swing yet again. Other than that,I hope it will come good. When the game feels proper,it is a joy to play. HB sort it!

Im going to add my 2 cents to this thread. I have had a nightmare with my swing, bought a new controller and that seemed to make a big difference, but I was still getting weird shots, even with a nice straight graphic. Plugged my controller into a powerbank (note, not PS4) and my swing is back to what it was with TGC1. Difference is night and day for me.

Plugging in the controller makes no difference at all as it's dull running off of blue tooth.only difference would be that the controller is charging constantly. I have two stock ps4 controllers. Both bought at the same time. With one I can hit perfect/perfect and 80% of the time in the cone the other I can't hit straight to save my life. I personally think it all depends on accuracy of the controller itself.

I bought a brand new controller and although it was better than the old one i was still getting random hooks and slices, since it's been plugged into the power bank i have had none, over multiple rounds, and i can swing alot more carelessly and all hit straightish. It is a huge difference for me, whether you want to believe it or not.

Newer DualShock4 controllers have the ability to turn off the bluetooth function when plugged in, or so I have been told here on the forums. Older models cannot do this.

I should have added that I have the old style controller.you're both absolutely right regarding the new controller as it has the ability to be used as a wired device if you also change your settings. The old controller does not have that function so plugging it in does not stop it from being a blue tooth device. :+)

Turning off Bluetooth only works on PS4 Pro and only with the 2nd version of the PS4 controller that came out in Oct 2016. The one with the grey instead of black sticks and with the lightbar on the touch pad. If you are using a V1 Ps4 controller, it will use Bluetooth, period regardless of the settings in your console.... I have a regular PS4....you can turn off Bluetooth.....so many people say sh%$ before they know

Thank you for that information!
Definitely saved me quiet some time searching that setting (which I would have never found).
It does work on regular PS4.....IVE BEEN CORDED SINCE THE BEGINNING.....HUGE DIFFERENCE. IVE MOVED FROM WGR 150 to 91 in 2 weeks

Can you tell me where to find that on an old PS4 (not Pro)?
Although I'm still pretty sure it won't help (me), I'd still like to try it...

You can then turn Bluetooth off and connect via usb cable. Since I bought the latest ps4 controller and connected it with a cable, it has changed this game for me (no more swing lag). I still have shots outside the cone but no lag.
