I would love to compete, but I don't think I could stand making anything less than bone-crunching U.S. Open difficulty courses at this point, so I will be in the gallery on this one.

I would love to compete, but I don't think I could stand making anything less than bone-crunching U.S. Open difficulty courses at this point, so I will be in the gallery on this one. You could always just have the judges play from the front tees...lol. Up to you...if you want to give it a run go for it, man. The worst that can happen is they say it's too tough...and it would have to be REALLY tough for that to be said. Most of the courses I've been using for CCPro this season are legit Web courses, and they still tear them up. |

I will be starting one fresh though as I have not touched the designer in quite some time and deleted everything from tgc1.

I'll tell ya what, Boom... I honestly don't know what your standing with TGCT is at the moment because I don't get into a lot of drama and politics. I think one of the thoughts was that when TGC2 came out that you would be given a second chance, but I'm not really sure how that was resolved. That being said, this isn't a playing competition. TGCT is a great community, and I'm willing to let the past be what it is. I have always found the designers to be a community within the community, and I personally don't see a reason for a new bridge not be built starting here. My personal opinion is that the design community is about us sharing ideas and helping each other get the best courses possible courses out to the community. On that note, I have no issues with you being in the contest...unless you submit 2 courses under different names.  (sorry...couldn't help it) |
