If you will have me I'm interested in getting back in the designer. I will be starting one fresh though as I have not touched the designer in quite some time and deleted everything from tgc1. I'll tell ya what, Boom... I honestly don't know what your standing with TGCT is at the moment because I don't get into a lot of drama and politics. I think one of the thoughts was that when TGC2 came out that you would be given a second chance, but I'm not really sure how that was resolved. That being said, this isn't a playing competition. TGCT is a great community, and I'm willing to let the past be what it is. I have always found the designers to be a community within the community, and I personally don't see a reason for a new bridge not be built starting here. My personal opinion is that the design community is about us sharing ideas and helping each other get the best courses possible courses out to the community. On that note, I have no issues with you being in the contest...unless you submit 2 courses under different names. (sorry...couldn't help it) Ba BOOM BOOM

Sorry Griff - am I allowed to use my current WIP? I'm about 3/4 laid out at this point. as long as it was started in TGC2 it's good to go. Only rule about WIPS is that they can't be ported in from 1.

Your courses don't win for the same reason my courses don't win: others' courses are better. You don't even attempt to make your courses appealing to the eye. People want beautiful courses. Beautiful can mean many things but the best courses are ones that combine a fun, challenging layout with breathtaking visuals. It's unfair to the organizer of this event, the judging panel, the competitors in this contest, and the entire design community to insinuate that your course designs haven't fared well in contests solely because your name is attached to it. Even if you mean it tongue-in-cheek, you've repeated it enough that it comes across that you truly believe this. You're a member of the media; you should know better. I hope you do well and create something magnificent. Good luck.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say I have the right people behind the scenes as well...and I promise it has NOTHING to do with the name on the course.

Griff- I started a course in TGC1 but it was always intended to be a TGC2 release, so I just had the framework of some holes done. I'm targeting late July to release it. If this is okay, count me in. If it's not okay, then I'll sit out as I don't want to work on 2 projects...just too much for me.

Looking positive for me... my first contest I had 8 holes laid in a few weeks before the deadline and in my second contest I only had one lol... I already have 3 and it hasn't even been 24 hours.

I've been on here for years joking about my poor game, etc. It's well known that I joke around about stuff like this. Then you get a##!0#ls like Patrick who come in here to try and cause problems with posts like that. People like Patrick are the kind of people who can ruin a community with their arrogant, hateful postings.

Yep, basically you have to have your course finished by the deadline, and make sure your course is suitable for CC players. Other than that, the bribery to @griff should remain secret. Oh, I almost forgot, the most important thing. Enjoy designing your course

Just a note: if I have liked your post then you are on the list. I will be posting a formal list later this afternoon as we've only got 1 (maybe 2) slots left open. If we indeed fill all the slots today then I will do the live draw Wednesday night on TGCT AfterDark.
More to come, and good luck, guys.
