Has anyone figured out, or heard from HB exactly what constitutes a slow/fast backswing or downswing? I'm skeptical that it is the speed of the stick. It almost feels like it's time that I spend at the top of the swing. Or maybe it's a combination of the two. IDK, having a hard time picking out exactly what causes the backswing or downswing to be off perfect tempo.

Speed of the stick doesn't seem to matter all that much, if at all. <--Apparently this is wrong, so nevermind.

Of course the speed of the stick matters, that's the downswing component. The timing/transition aspect is the backswing component.

Now it will probably mess with my head. I figured since I was so bad at pushing in a straight line that I couldn't be a lot better at getting the same timing most of the time.

It is weird that HB didn't build in an actual tutorial on how the tempo works. Started off with a slow backswing and took me a while to realize that jamming the stick backwards as fast as I can wasn't helping

Ok, if it's the speed of the stick, what is the reference point? What is considered perfect speed for the downswing? Seems like something we should know.

When your golfer finishes his backswing, start the downswing, no pause, no increase in speed, just a nice fluid motion = perfect/perfect.

The driving range should have an option to turn on the trackman or swing analyzer that gives you the exact numbers that caused the game's feedback.

Just go into practice swing mode and do hundreds in a row - you will soon learn the right tempo.

The tempo is kinda frustrating without the percentage marker. You can get a P/P but still come up short

But my distance still varies because I struggle finding how far to take the club back
