We should turn this thread into a "which game debate?" thread and go back to TGC1Tours No thanks, tgc1 had some fantastic courses but it's terrible swing mechanics meant you straight shot your way around them. Seemed pointless to have hazards in them. Would rather a buggy tgc2 any day. If golf's long game is about maths and nothing else I suppose tgc1 was a great golf game. Just can't see the love for that game, played much better golf games through the years, the only thing great about it was the putting and superbly designed courses by the community TGC2 on PS4 is barely playable. |

Just to counter, it's not really the game that runs terribly bad , more that courses get designed that it can't cope well with. It's so much easier to release a game that works when you get to optimise things based on natural limitations of maps you design in house. Really hard to do that with maps that can be anything...
Also PS4 and XBone are 4 year old tech - they're starting to show it.
Only advice, turn graphics settings down to minimum when the course demands it (most).
