Says the guy who "miraculously" shoots 3 Hole in One's in just one Round.  Sorry... couldn't resist! I've had one HIO in 204 hours in the game. You have me mistaken with the guy that did that (Peter Moyle) Oooops... sorry! Almost 3am here and I didn't have enough Coffee today! |

'Controller lottery' says the guy who refuses to stop using his power a controller lol. Must run horribly on PS4 with the scores Hammond, Sloaner, Murphy, Sweeney etc are shooting. Bunch of whiners!!! Says the guy who doesn't have a clue about me, what I play with, or if I even bother playing this game for more than a few holes a week. For the record, I haven't played anything but Forza with my Power A since it was all revealed. But nice try clown. And good on you for whining about whiners. Very productive additions to the conversation. Now before someone else comes in, mods lock this thread. #rolleyes |

Just to counter, it's not really the game that runs terribly bad , more that courses get designed that it can't cope well with. It's so much easier to release a game that works when you get to optimise things based on natural limitations of maps you design in house. Really hard to do that with maps that can be anything... Also PS4 and XBone are 4 year old tech - they're starting to show it. Only advice, turn graphics settings down to minimum when the course demands it (most). How do you turn graphics down on a PS4. I can't wait to be playing Tiger 2002 again |

My goodness. How about instead of locking threads we just s***-can the children from the forums for a week or so? That'll put a nice big dent in the number of petty, childish arguments we see here on an almost daily basis.

That's why it's a console and not a PC. |

We should turn this thread into a "which game debate?" thread and go back to TGC1Tours TGC1 wasn't perfect. But at least it ran well on all three platforms and gameplay wasn't completely dependent on your system, laggy servers and winning the controller lottery. TGC1 didnt run well on PS4. It was just as laggy. |

My new controller arrived - Ps4 Dualshock. I'm hoping for four holes in one first round.
I may need a bit of practise with it first, about a year should do it.

No thanks, tgc1 had some fantastic courses but it's terrible swing mechanics meant you straight shot your way around them. Seemed pointless to have hazards in them. Would rather a buggy tgc2 any day. If golf's long game is about maths and nothing else I suppose tgc1 was a great golf game. Just can't see the love for that game, played much better golf games through the years, the only thing great about it was the putting and superbly designed courses by the community TGC2 on PS4 is barely playable. Dread to think what people on the PS4 will shoot when it becomes playable  |

I can't wait to be playing Tiger 2002 again It's in the settings menu. Yes unusual for graphics options on consoles, because everything is tuned to run at the detail level the console can deal with. Impossible to do that with community generated courses, so that's why HB have usefully given the options even for console users.... |
