(Also the PC Master race getting a leg up because of tempo been tied to frame rate is the real problem here) In my opinion there has never been a level playing field even in the first game, PC had better frame rates and resolutions followed by PS4 slightly better frame rates and resolution than Xbox why should it be any different with the new game. I say let people use whichever club set they choose normal is giving up distance and control, player clubs slightly less. |

Yeah they need to sort the framer ate out if the tempo is tied to that, also Yeah the admin have a hell of a time trying to decide which path to take on clubs and sh%$.

I think the use of all caps and multiple exclamation marks is not only objectionable from a purely moral standpoint  ...it's also a bit unfair to the debate so far. There has been no heat in this so far - the thread has merely been an honest exchange of views. And long may that continue  You're right tho - the admins do have a stonker of a decision to make - prayers indeed. I just hope we all show enough humility to accept and trust their final judgement. Well, the optimization was garbage, so if you played on a laptop like me I'm not sure it was an advantage. |

Playing on an underpowered laptop maybe gives you the feeling of what it was like to play Xbox. |

It doesn't take long to get up to speed with the Tour clubs and they are well worth it for distance (love the driver) and spin. Already shot a -11 at the TPC at Caramel Creek and a -9 at St. Andrews. If I can do that in a day, anybody can do it in three weeks. It is so much more realistic. I'm getting a feel for the new flop shot, too. Just takes some practice. In today's world the mantra seems to be "instant gratification takes too long."

After much debate, here is what I've noticed...
Standard - No distance. No spin. I think my lowest round was -9.
Players - Didn't play enough to tell.
Tour - Super hard at first as anyone who watched my stream can attest to. However, it was MY swing that was the issue. Well, my thumb's path with the stick. I fixed it by pushing up and left. Almost the 1030 position on a clock. It is very repeatable for me and straight in the cone. Sometimes an occasional fade. I shot -48 over my 4 rounds of the Euro and PGA society events.
I'm now a firm believer of tour clubs period on pro tours. Not because of what I shot, but because it requires concentration.
Meh.

Go to societies and search for tgctours PGA and Euro were side by side. 😏😏 |
