Swing is going to be interesting. If they made it at all like RM's current advanced difficulty swing, it's going to make the game a lot more difficult. I'm fairly good at RM tour pro mode but still miss tons of fairways and will find hazards due to the difficulty of the swing. Some of the courses on this game we've designed would be brutal with it.

I would be interested to see how you shape shots etc and how smooth you would have to swing on the hard difficulty setting.

I personally would prefer to keep our history and position and that's coming from someone who's never won anything. If we reset every time a new game comes out then career progression is limited and the stats are not as worthwhile. Still, if they do reset I'll be here trying to at least back to where I am now.
The difficulty of the swing worries me slightly. I've struggled hitting it straight from time to time so I can see myself struggling on a harder difficulty. I wanted it to be harder by making the actual process of the swing more difficult rather than the accuracy. Also, I'm hoping taking the maths out if it and making the landing zone bigger will get the scoring down. We will see.

I'm predicting it's going to be a march/april 2017 release. Q1 almost never means January..would be nice though. The transition will be tricky.

I hope it fcuks up the super lofting chart players. I'm guessing it will still be possible to do this but with a much bigger risk. That's what i think anyway.

It's going to seem a long wait until it finally comes out.
I think that obviously as soon as it comes out the tour has to use it since everyone will put TGC1 away immediately.
If the swing difficulty can be easily changed during a round, rather than being stuck with hard/hardest or easier for the full round I'll be happy enough.I'm assuming that will be the case.
I don't mind starting from scratch, not having had the game so long but on the other hand I've won nowt so I wouldn't mind would I!

At the end of the day they could always keep it on the easy settings and then whoever wants a challenge can change it for casual rounds. I would love it if lofting more than 1 bar is so risky there is no point in doing it (what smurf just said basically)

I don't know how it will effect the tours. Since three tours, each on a different swing setting is out of the question,I suppose it will be a mixed swing tour, and up to the designers to make longer courses, where a player only using the easy setting has great trouble reaching the greens.

I would like rumble feedback on impact - I doubt that will be in.

Bollocks to TGC1 - I'm going to get one of those straight shooter controllers and cheat the sh%$ out of it.

Will be interesting that course creation now allows for crowds. I wonder if that will be a setting that can be turned on/off when you play? Certainly adds a bit of realism to an event if done well - the courses can feel pretty 'lonely' if you don't play with ghosts. I wonder if it will impact frame rate though? The next Par 7 Challenge Hole just got a whole lot more fun!
