I think you should make everyone go through Q-School again, but this time 15 TGC2 courses all with waterfalls, all designed by Irving and his son (I'm imagining they somehow create one that looks like a giant toilet). Kidding aside I really think this is the way to go. Start from scratch and we go from there. May piss a bunch of people off but with a new game should be a clean slate.
I think the issue is we start in like December and TGC2 is not due out until Q1 2017
start from scratch, you need to start playing again

I think a good way to do it would be to delay implementation until at least after the first update/patch to the game. Let the bugs that get through beta get stamped out.
Get the game in the hands of the best designers the community has to offer and tell them to work like maniacs. Get a good 100 or so courses designed in the new designer ready to go for Week 1 of the TGC 2 edition of TGCTours.

Still the best game golf game I have ever played as I've being consumed for almost 2 years now. It's tough as it's very addicting to me. I have missed out playing all these other titles since 2014 which I trying to play catch-up on.

No matter what happens, people will moan and complain and be generally unhappy with any sought of change. Just like many people will embrace it and love it. Whatever the guys decide I will support and be happy with. Clean slate or not, I'll still be playing regardless

That will still take some time to do, but could at least add to the base of courses for the new game a lot quicker.

There are some great ones for sure and getting those ported over with the new swing would be great to test

If the game is to be available in Jan 2017 id wait n start the new season then. It wud be cool to do q school again and reset all current wgr pts n stuff. Would give a feeling of freshness and re-energize the site and the game. I agree with starting at Q-School again...and just when I started to feel my way into this version!! The downside to not being a "gamer" (I have the PS4 and exactly 1 game...this one) is that it does take me a bit of time to learn. But whatever, if the game is better then bring it on.

I just think it would be fun for "new" courses to be ready that can only be played when we cross over. A little added bonus for the switch, if that makes sense.

I would love to go through Q-School again. Yeah, until you rage play a couple 100+ rounds and end up in CC-D. Bet you'd be loving it then

The best news coming from this announcement is that a harder swing mechanic will be available.
That's the biggest flaw with the current build and why courses have to be firm/fast with snake-like narrow fairways and concrete greens. Hopefully TGCT will use this feature and RCR courses can look and play more like their RL counterparts.

Hopefully TGCT will use this feature and RCR courses can look and play more like their RL counterparts. I think we really need to play it to see how "difficult" the difficult swing is. While some may find it harder than before, many already good players (who can flick their stick straight a large percentage of the time) will just have to adjust to tempo and be fine. Firm/fast will still be in the game, hopefully with a few more settings in between.

Will be interesting that course creation now allows for crowds. I wonder if that will be a setting that can be turned on/off when you play? Certainly adds a bit of realism to an event if done well - the courses can feel pretty 'lonely' if you don't play with ghosts. I wonder if it will impact frame rate though?
