Six months away which means they won't be fixing anything in TGC 1 or switching over to unity 5. Kinda sux that they are just abandoning TGC 1.

I'd be interested to see if the top tiers would be using the harder swing settings, would seperate the men/women from the boys/girls?

Anthony has said that he hopes to get one final update out for TGC1, so it's not being ignored just yet.
But I'd suggest there could be some crossover period, depending on how the new APIs would work for TGCT. Courses made for TGC1 will be playable on TGC2, so we could all be technically playing the same course.
Will be interesting to see how it all works out, but one thing is for sure, it's all pretty amazing and positive!

Anthony said earlier that there might be one final update for TGC1. I'd imagine he would specifically go out of his way to make sure the putting bug you so love, and hardly ever talk about, is still there in TGC 2 though

I love the idea of the hard swing and getting that extra distance if you have great tempo etc. Also im interested in seeing how much you can dial in distance. It says it will be much harder but i guess we will have to wait and see

For a start the name will be changed to TGC2rs. I'm going to start dreaming up a TGC1 finale course (perhaps the special secret one I allude to in my signature *gasp*- it won't be)

If they actually fix every issue I have with TGC(which I highly doubt) I won't play TGC again after buying 2

Sounds great. I hope the swing is interchangeable during a round. Having the option which is only perhaps two clicks away to change to the harder swing for extra distance,or change down for less distance but more sure accuracy, during the same round.
