Anyone other than me experiencing a lot of lag on round 1? It didnt affect my play tee to green, but I did have some trouble on the greens.
Anyway. Followed my newly aquired ritual where I do no practice and play one round early. Played really well dispite my troubles on the green where I missed 3 birdies from within 2 meters. Again round 1 went well an finished 10 under.
Lets see if my second round melt down from last week can be avoided this time.

I wouldn't say I had a lot of lag, but there was some frequent noticable lag when I played a practise round on the Thursday and Friday set ups. Can't comment on Sat/Sun setups as I haven't played those. This is on XB1 btw Also, nice opening round mrooola. Didn't find the course overly difficult in practise, but that was in calm winds, dunno how the winds are in the actual tournament

The shadows seem to cause a bit of lag but nothing to affect shots IMO and those that checked it a it was a small concern that was flagged

Played 3 rounds, I will play 4th round next week. Nice course, excellent choice Moe. Rd.1 -8 (62) Rd.2 -13 (57) Rd.2 -8. (62) total : -29 after 3 rounds. I played round 4 in practise and it seems much harder especially if the wind is blowing in double digits. Interesting to see what the final score will be. Best of luck fellow webbers

Well that was a mistake.....met you on the first and promptly spewed up my breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon when I caught sight of your tartan pants. That put me behind the 8-ball and I was intermittently retching for the whole front nine. Managed to recover however and got within 3 of your score. Thanks for the game.

Never play against my ghost so. Basically I've gone with the tincup shank remedy style.

First 2 rounds in the book, -8, -12. tied for second at moment at -20 with some pretty good company, so guess I can have confidence in making cut anyway. Those soft greens on round 2 made for a dart throwing contest even from 207 out. golf is always would of could of should of, but I left at least 2 strokes out there on round 2 that were mind boggling short putts. Good luck!

So after making a surprise cut in Mexico, Dave Wilks caught the red eye up to New York state, to play at Bethpage State Golf Club, where he carried on his poor form, shooting a less than impressive -5(65). After a good nights sleep, Dave took to the tee for R2, where he set off at a blistering pace, -6 after 7, the weather turned seriously poor, but Dave carried on & recorded a very respectable-12(58). However he did look more like a drowned rat than a golfer & he was heard muttering "its just like been back home in Yorkshire, this chuffing rain" before shouting to the caddy to make sure his clubs dry out for R3.
