The rule is there for a reason. Sometimes in life things feel unfair. You just have to take it on the chin and learn from it. Swallow that bitter pill and move on.

I know about the rule it was an honest mistake and I notified them as soon as I noticed it. I put my 3rd round as 4th round and 4th as 3rd by accident.

Hence I dont think I should be DQ'd for being honest and admitting the mistake And asking for them to correct it. The SCORECARDS should be the end all I would have qualified for the MASTERS to. I should still get to play in it that is why I am so PISSED!

I find it ridiculous that there isn't a DQ in Vermont. Anyway rules are rules, do as I do and enter your score in right after each round, then you cant get them mixed up.

Both the co-founders have done this and both were DQed... So if the creators of this site can take a DQ, so can you. We laughed about it.. I would try that. It will make you feel much better.

What the original poster is also failing to mention here is that before he submitted his fourth round, he was told he would have to live with the 76 he submitted for round three and a copy of the full rule on the matter was provided to him in that email. He then proceeded to submit the lower fourth round score anyway.
Regardless, the rule is what it is and we've always enforced it the same for everyone.

And he tried to cheat after being told not to enter the lower score and hoped it wouldn't get noticed. Gg, great thread.

It's probably little solace but take a lesson learned here and always write down your scores both in strokes AND to par. That way when the submission form comes up you can confirm both.

Dear me, that's quite an important part to leave out, or indeed just lie about.... So it was not a case of getting the scores mixed up at all, the guy flat out tried to be dishonest, then complains on the forums when he gets caught. I have a feeling this thread will keep on giving for a while!

If, by your mistake & subsequent DQ it meant I got into the masters by default as next best score & then you were reinstated, I would have a genuine case to complain..... It's only a game, but games have rules - without rules there's no game!!

I fully support the admins on this one, 100% right, no quibbles from me....... Can I have his place in the masters, please.
I'm not in cc-z, I was rubbish in my group but, it's a big but, I am very well behaved and don't tell lies, oh no, not me...
