Well. I'll take that. And HB took it back when I made two bogeys right after that. Rage quit lol Man I just haven't been able to find my groove last couple days. Oh Tim, I so wish I had kept a video of mine from yesterday as my shot was absolutely identical to yours and I mean identical. I honestly thought someone had uploaded my vid! That is the way to play that hole. People take note!

I find it's the way to play a lot of them on this setup if you have to room, some I do a club up and loft to get it to stop but I find the land short and roll up is working best. Got it from Doyley watching him stream his Canada Qualifier yesterday. One of the courses was fast and firm and he made a comment about landing 30 yards short and letting it roll. So today that has been my plan of attack with this setup. Going to have one more go at it today then will give it up and watch real golf I'm recording now. Honda Classic. After an exhaustive practice it's official. My up and downs in terms of tournament play remain with me. Couple of downs weeks, both Dreyton and this week. At least the downs are not killers, so my advance continues

Tomorrow I will probably be tackling this thing. Pin 3 has me snake bitten lately. Can't seem to break par anymore. Not looking forward to having to play this with a sponsor's exemption into C but I guess it's a free week in a way. Worst that can happen is I stay in D for the next tournament.
Should be an interesting week.

You may surprise yourself. I was totally dreading this tournament. I wanted to just wait until i was ready. But yesterday i just said screw it and went for it. I played very slow and methodical. Took me over 3 hours to play my rounds. I dont look at the leader board in between holes and rounds and no ghosts. Never paid much attention to my scores. Just played it one hole at a time. In the end when i looked at the leader board i was shocked. I think i played my best tournament in all my 60 plus. Wast a -40+ one but totally happy with my play overall.
Just go out there and give the course hell.

My score for the last tournament in D, which got me my got, was just above the clear strikes line in C. That's some major distance there. This will not be an easy week no matter how well I do.

This tournament could be my last for a while until I can afford an upgrade on my PC. I can't even play the game anymore because of lagging and frame rate drops. Maybe everyone will chip in and buy me a new computer. LMAO

So I didn't notice any problems. If you're going from 60 FPS and suddenly dropping to 30 or less, that will a problem. So, here's what you do. Set a max frame rate so that you don't see any drops. The game will play a lot smoother and you won't really notice a performance hit. Trust me, you can play this game well at 15 FPS. I came in T7 during my week where I made my D exemption and also the week I actually earned my D card. This will be my first week with my new card and, quite honestly, I'm not really playing any better with it. Give it a shot. You've got nothing to lose until you can afford to upgrade your rig.

It's the lag and glitch while putting that is killing me in game. I can be at 40 FPS at the start of my putting stroke and the screen will stutter and my FPS will drop in half. If I catch it and don't release the putt I am fine..but if I release I've usually drawn the putter back too far and I wind up blowing the putt past by 20-30 feet sometimes. Birdies turning into double and triple bogies to me means the game is unplayable.

Been running that way before my new card for 6 months. Didn't even know FPS was a thing.
