I'm experiencing the some weeks up some down at this very moment. Last week I have my best tournament ever and actually win one, this week, middle of the pack. For me it's kind of psychological coming off last weeks win I had pre programmed my mind that I probably wouldn't do so great at Spirit, and I turned that into a self fulfilling prophecy. In the end I'll wind up with a decent score and may, stress may scrape an exemption out of it. But I'm totally ok with the fact that I may not. I know I will pull out a decent score out of Fossmill and will just play to my strengths out there. And I've stated in the past I hate the birdie fest courses never felt I can compete in those one, so what happens, just to throw it in my face someone up there makes me win on a birdie fest course. Irony. Now I back in from the colder than outer space temperatures, I'm going to rip Fossmill apart once I warm up, it will not beat me lol Some weeks you will be up. Some weeks you will be down. When I played on CC I dreaded the birdie fest courses. I couldn't handle them.

If anybody is interested, I've setup another tour for this course in case the round 2 hurricane winds are driving you crazy. Don't know how these winds are yet as I haven't played it but they can't be any worse. Tour Name: CC W 19 Thx Wagtunes. I have been struggling with this course on the winds in the practise tour. So I'll give your tour a shot. Only back after a massive break from the game and am way out of practice. I used to beat Nantez on the odd course, though he would slig me most of the time. Prob was closest to Moeslorkmans skill level back then.

I have a feeling that I set my tour up with the wrong course on Thursday. I used the Thursday setup but it doesn't look like the one used in the original practice tour. So perhaps that one used the regular Fossmill course for day 1?
Can anybody confirm that?

That's what I used, but I'm telling you, the one in the practice tour that was setup originally has different pin positions in round 1. I'd swear to it unless I'm going crazy.

This just sums up my round 2 on Wag's practice tournament. Actually it sums up my entire golf day, just cant get anything going. Should have stayed in earlier, that cold air did me in. (customary golf excuses)
Just unlocked that achievement lol
You would think that 800 hours (just broke that milestone today) and about 800 rounds I would have already unlocked that.
Comeback Kid Finish an 18-hole course under-par having been +3 or more at hole 9.

You and me both. I gave it up about an hour ago, did a round of the Web tour and then realized I'm just not on today. Figured it best I quit before I lose my marbles. Did try to go inverted but holy crap I am worse there. Did seem to get some of my mojo back in that the slice didn't seem to bother me as much, and was draining some long putts, but over all I'm just not on today. That experience in the cold kind of gave me one of those deep down bone chills that I can't get rid of. Well, I just played the best round of golf in my life. On my practice tour setup for this course, I shot +1 for the 4 rounds.
Now, if you're scratching your head wondering what I'm smoking calling this the best round of golf in my life, here's why.
1) Not one double bogie in 4 rounds.
2) No more than 2 holes where I had to scramble out of the rough or trap.
3) Played it safe and made about 75% of my putts for par on those holes.
4) No errant drives off the tee. A couple that just drifted into the light rough but nothing horrible.
The few birdies I had were what kept me from going way over par. Plus, I made some very long putts. In addition, missed a 27 footer by 10 inches and a 23 footer by 3 inches.
If I count the number of putts I missed by under 6 inches, I shot close to 10 under for the 4 rounds.
If I can get my approach game a little tighter and my putting a little more accurate, there is no reason I can't shoot 5 under per round on this course. I even held my own on the holes that were up around 12 to 15 mph.
It was a relatively clean tournament and that alone made me feel really good.
I'm going to look at the boards after the first round to see how E Class shapes up with this one. My gut tells me that even par for the tournament will make it into the top 50% as many of the pin positions on this course, especially on days 3 and 4, are really brutal and I can't see the majority of E Class scoring off the charts with this one.
Looking forward to how this one plays out.
