As it appears listed in multi-pin thread, despite we don't have official confirmation from the powers that be about the configuration, I created one tour with the four days for us to practice and blame the designer of the course (J/K Mikael, it's a great course)
CC Week 19 practice is the name. It's under tours section

It's an amazing course. Some of the more imaginative shots I've seen around here. And that 8th tee...

Just a tip for some. I had a sneak peak as a ranger. This is a thinkers course not a tee it up and smash it. You will need to plan your shots and where you will land. I found the 8th if its the one i remember that you may need to club down from the iron it gives you. Depending on wind
Ps pardon spelling and grammar im on my phone in a parking lot waiting for the drug store to open and my reading glasses are at home. I cant see what the hell im typing lol

Prepare to be berated for this course being chosen Ola. This one is tough....real tough. No -40's for the win here I'm ready! I have sunglasses on so I can look cool taking the "blow drier speach". I'm expecting a bigger gap in scoring through the flights than usual. I think winning CC-A will still take a -30-something score. Winds will obviously dictate scoring in the end) The course isn't overly tough if you have good course management, while if you grip it and rip it this course could potentially sell the soul of your unborn child to a ginger. (This was a joke. Please don't take offence). As it appears listed in multi-pin thread, despite we don't have official confirmation from the powers that be about the configuration, I created one tour with the four days for us to practice and blame the designer of the course (J/K Mikael, it's a great course) CC Week 19 practice is the name. Just put up a -10 on the Thursday tee...so it's doable

Well, to say I despise this course would be a gross understatement.
I think I'm going to skip my first tournament.

Well, to say I despise this course would be a gross understatement. I think I'm going to skip my first tournament. What you choose to do is entirely up to you. I recon however if you go about doing your thing, by the time we approach tour start you won't be as infuriated nor upset. If I'm not mistaken, you got your excemption on the willows. The Willows was much about accuracy off the tee. So is this, but instead of just trying to hit the fairway you need to figure out where on the fairway to put the ball on Fossmill. Obviously I could be wrong and this course just don't suite you. Future will tell. If you decide to opt out, we'll see you on Drayton Lakes.

You can't be serious Wag, it's an amazing course I wouldn't go so far as to say it's amazing..I've seen better, much better that haven't been considered for tournaments. That said...it's a thinkers course..which I do like.

A matter of tastes I think I would agree if your reasoning for calling it amazing is how much thought you have to put into each shot. Then I concur...amazing.

It's not only the (huge) amount of thinking required in each shot, the course is a beauty. If you play wisely it will give you the prize. If you go nuts, the course will punish you.
And for this the designer has not used a single "nasty" trick. The fairways are wide enough, the greens have a generous size, obviously it's a difficult course, but it's a joy to play (for me).
Yes, you're right, I love the course.
After all this being said, I understand that some people don't like how it's been built, all those are my views
