The recent thread asking users age got me thinking about some golf games of the past. Anyone remember Leaderboard Golf one the Commodore 64?
What are some of your favorites?

Apart from the music making my ears bleed I loved this game, back in the day of built in sonic and Alex the kid and when fixing a console meant removing the game and blowing into it a few times

My "serious golf" was Links, but my addictive game was heading out to the pub and playing the table top version of Birdie King. Many a beer spilled swiping hard across that ball on the table!

I love me some Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge! "I suggest feather touch"..."You have selected POWER DRIVE". Sounds like how I rage quit.
In seriousness though, I loved Mario golf for the NES and Mario Golf 64. I think I have the Mario Golf 64 courses down by memory all these years....maybe I should do a re-creation....

What are some of your favorites? i played leaderboard like it was going out of style. And I'm only 34 years old. So that tells you the percentage of available years I've been playing video game golf

Wouldn't is be great to recreate some of the courses from these older games like Mario Golf or others? Maybe at least name a few of the courses (or tournaments) after some of these older one?

I played leaderboard on C64 quite a lot too. A few of us would sometimes skip school after answering the afternoon registration and play for a few hours at my house. Years later they used to have a turf masters arcade machine at my local golf course. We used to spend as long on that as the actual round that we'd just finished!
