Anyone remember Leaderboard Golf one the Commodore 64? I do... oh dear, where has the time gone? C64 was my first computer experience, and many followed... but I'll never forget that C64-datasette! I never had the cassette drive, only 5.5 in. floppy drive. I recently saw a whole C64 set at a trade show for $75. I wanted to get it but decided I don't have the time to screw around with something like that.

First golf game was on the Z X Spectrum 16k in the 1980's
Then played on various consoles via PGA games.
Tiger Woods 2000 was a belter game for the PC. I ran an online tour (one of many) with a great community and with course creator it was a golden period 2000/2001 before the game was revamped in 2002 and all downhill after that.
I played Everybody's golf on the PS3 for a bit and for over 18 months daily on the PS Vita when that was released.
Played Rory for xbox one and completed it and sold it very quickly.
This current golf game we are all playing is one of the best sims I had ever played and comes close to the golden age of Tiger Woods 2000 for me.

PGA Tour Golf. I spent hours upon hours playing this as a kid. Three courses: Sawgrass, Avenel, PGA West. It had a full four round torunament and then a season money list. Not a true season mode, but the first golf game to allow you to play multiple 4 round tournaments with a money list. I also was heavily involved with the online tours associated with PGA Tour Pro and then the follow up game Tiger Woods 99. Had a World Golf Rankings and multiple tours similar to but nowhere near as robust as TGCTours. On PGA Tour Pro, a few people ran a weekly event, TNT - Tuesday Night Singles. Everyone would play their round at the same time every week. Much fun. Anyone think that concept would work on this game across the platforms?

Man, I started "seriously" with Pga Championship golf 2000. There even are a few communities playing it. It's crazy. I think in this site you can even find some of the courses I designed. It's insane, even the fact of having some of the top guys designing still. Amazing

I played leaderboard golf on an old Mac plus. It had a course creator too, the first one I ever used. A good game for a pre-teen. The only issue is it would occasionally place the green under water for no reason
