This is my second exemption shot up at the pros. My nerves got me the last time around. That, and I only practiced the course once or twice. This time around I made sure to play each pin set at least 3 times each. I was feeling really confident with multiple sub 60 practice rounds last night. Not sure what happened today because this is how my front nine started off:
Hole 1: 3 putt bogey Hole 2: Tee'd off into the water with the slightest of a fade. Guess I'm living up to my name. Double bogey.
I shot another bogey around the 6th hole. So when I finally got back to even on the 9th hole, I told myself to calm down and pretend my game starts from here. Clawed my way back to a 4 under to finish the round.
My second round was a 14 under, which matched my pb in practice. So with an 18 under, I'm really going to be crossing my fingers to see if I can make the cut and earn my tour card. I shot reasonably well in my third and fourth rounds as well (-9 & -13), finishing off at 40 under.
Looking forward to playing with you all.

Great Recovery.
Obviously too early to tell for sure, but i'd be surprised if -18 doesn't make the cut. Very rarely get cuts that low on the Euro Tour.
Good luck!

Good luck on your exemption! Managed a -11 R1 which was a relief after a couple of bad weeks. Can I be cheeky and ask if the conditions are the same for all 4 rounds?

Ok so i finished -36 and now i officially hate this game once more. I'm so close to quitting its unreal.
Went -7, -17, -6, -6.
The only highlight there was my 2nd round but the other 3 i was dealt with so much bullshit. Water balls etc etc.
I just gave up mid way through Round 3 and just wanted it to be over.

Broken record I know - but -36 and "hate this" being even remotely close to each other in anything supposed to resemble golf is not right.

However, if the same people whinging that last week was too hard turn up in this thread claiming this week is too easy i will really lose my rag

OSWIN CHOKES IN FIRST ROUND
A poor display of putting and course management means Oswin will be left with a massive task in order to make the cut.
"I played poorly. Trying to force too many shots. At least we could hold the greens this week."
Oswin is trying to rebuild his reputation after his 'Toothache' withdrawal last week which left many to believe he spat his dummy out.
"I'll begrudgingly play every competition from now on whether I like the course or not and with the new WGR setup I'm even cancelling my holidays so I can compete in the world rankings. No week off from now on. TGCT or the highway. My missus now hates me but I need to make the Masters. It's my dream."
On this showing Oswin may aswell book a holiday as he will most certainly not make the Masters.

Would be a sad score to be cut with. But if the Web has seen several twenty and lower cut lines already this season, I'm not going to count my chickens before they hatch.

I did not play here last week, but would not of complained. I've been around long enough to know that this is the popular kind of course. Although for the life of me I cant figure why. It is so far beyond realistic it is not even funny, not even remotely similar to golf, further away by a light year from Firm and fast to being close to golf, to stand there in the fairway and say, hit 132, tap in, next is for the complete mentally challenged, non golfing arcade gamer. Go play fckn pac man.

I've already kind of written off my chances this week as i know how it's going to go - the same way it always does in birdie fest tournaments. I'll have one good round where i keep pace with the leaders, two decent ones ruined by 3/4 hole par streaks and another ruined by one dumb bogey/double, and finish just outside the Top 10. You heard it here first

I will probably end up last of the people who make the cut.
