Well, my game is so screwed up right now I don't think it matters what course I play. For some reason, my driving has abandoned me. I can't hit the ball straight to save my life. I don't know if I've developed bad mechanics or if my XBos 360 controller is going bad. Either way, I am landing in the rough or fairway trap about 50% of the holes. My putting has actually improved a lot but it doesn't matter if I can't hit the ball straight anymore.
Don't have a clue how to fix the problem.

Had a go on three rounds of the practice tour.
Shot a -10 on the first (with an ace!) 2nd and 3rd rounds were much closer to par (-2).
The wind is tricky, using draw or fade is going to save a lot of shots .

I just had to try out the Sunday pins due to this thread. It's a tough setup for sure, especially the par 3s and I would recommend not playing all 4 rounds in one go. Take a break after the Saturday pins and practice 1 or 2 holes on Sunday pins to get the feel back.
Not sure everyone knows or if it might help, but 1 grid is 1 meter. Just shy of a yard. Should help when practicing since you will need to use the entire green most of the time.
I shot -6 or -7 on my first go messing up dropping 3 unnecessary shots

Now you tell me..lol I had great plans of doing just that. But I just wanted to get it over with after being ripped apart on the 18'th two times in a row. lol Earlier in the week I did it this way. Went and played a round of Magnolia National Sunday which is my go to course for fast green practice. I shot -5 after a bogey (only one that round) on the 10'th was at -6 and on my way to personal best of -8 there. I then went and played Yuchi Sunday and the course seemed easy. Still only did -5, but didn't break a sweat doing it. But yeah good advice for those who have yet to play. Take a break and re acquaint yourself with the Sunday setup. I would recommend not playing all 4 rounds in one go. Take a break after the Saturday pins and practice 1 or 2 holes on Sunday pins to get the feel back.

Wag... It's already playable... What's the tour name? Look for "tgctours.com" under tours, and you should find it something like tgctours.com-cc-s2w12

Not a big fan of courses where nice shots don't stick on the green. The greens were much faster on the fourth round which kind of took the fun out of it and I never got used to them even on the last hole. Winds were not a factor for me.

Theres one long par 3 that i hit a 3 iron 207 yards lofted. I hit the very front of the green and it rolled through the green and off the back down a hill. And this is a long green. Im talking well over 20 yards of run after landing on the green.

not a fan. The green complexes defend well, but to have nice shots roll out 30 yrds after hitting a green with a 6 iron.... with those complexes too lol'd.. smh

Worst course I have ever played. Stupid landing areas on some holes. Cups cut into the sides of hills. 5-putts, 7-putts......hated it completely to the point of not wanting to play anymore....
Have fun guys.
