Phew. -6 Screw you yaters ha ha! I'm off to the EURO tour bye bye.
Seriously though, delighted with a bogey free round on there. Tough winds at the start, tough pin locations to get to but in more forgiving places once on the green.
Well done Kenny, a great -8. I was tracking you the whole way and was almost always 2 behind. I beat you by 1 in total shot. So so close!
68, 67, 67, 66. Slow and steady improvement through the rounds, each one different to the rest. Yes, this course had me raging but in the end I feel I had it tamed. It took more work than usual but I got there. I'm hoping that gets me a top 25 finish and some more cash. The wife wrote our car off last week and this should pay for a replacement.

Didn't hold my nerve Two even par rounds to finish doh! I had you down as winning this after your first two rounds, better luck next week. (Unless I'm challenging ) I was feeling really good after the first two rounds - my game was coming together nicely. Just need to be able to put 4 consistent rounds together and I'll be thereabouts. There's always next week!!!

Didn't hold my nerve Two even par rounds to finish doh! Haha shouldn't laugh same thing happened to me. Shot 67 63 first 2 rounds my best performance in a year only to follow it up with a 73 69. Oh dear haha. Great course. Tough challenge. You gotta laugh I don't know about anyone else but this game gets me emotional sometime - just like real golf!!

Shot a fantastic 63 in the final round that included my first ace on the web.com tour on hole #16.
Rounds of 67 - 65 - 71 - 63 should get me a pretty decent finish for the week.
Good luck everybody still playing.

It's fantastic Kenny. I was delighted just to make the cut this week and after a 6th last week you would think I was mad. We will all play better some weeks and it depends on the course, your form and frame of mind. I enjoyed this just as much as last week, grinding out respectable scores was hard but when it was done I was really pleased. To have beaten you by just one shot made it even sweeter. I think this tour is amazing at the moment. Now Jared has moved onto pastures new we can all win it when it's our week, we can all miss the cut when it's not.

3rd round scores are up! Any predictions on what the top 5 cut-off will be? Hoping to qualify for an exemption so I can not use it next week and start this debate up again!

I want to apologies to any of my fellow Web players if I offended you. I am a competitor and simply don't understand those who choose to stay put instead of advancing. I don't think their is anything wrong with questioning the status quo of current rules as these tours will and have been constantly evolving for the better. Just like the wind issues from weeks ago, when people start complaining there is a group of usuals who say shut up and this is how it is. I will try and be more respectful but I will not shut up or stop trying to improve this game. We all get an opinion on what those improvements are vs the status quo. Stop fearing change or viewing it as a negative...PLEASE

Stop fearing change or viewing it as a negative...PLEASE I appreciate the comments. I have intentionally stayed out of this debate. I've never had (and probably never will) the choice of an exemption. My first reaction was "of course I'd take it!" but as I read all the posts, I understand the other perspective too. I was a middle of the pack CC-A player that came to the tour pretty late. I had one good week but the exemptions weren't valid at that point because the web.com tour was in their end of the year playoffs. Then the championship for CC rolls around and I made the cut by 1 stroke. So at that point I knew I had a lot of work to do on my game just to feel like I belong here on this tour. I also play in the TST now (the no aides group). There are no flights or tiers in that. So I'm competing against the best guys from the PGA and EURO and all the RGT guys that came over here to form TST. It is a stacked group, but I haven't been within 30 strokes of the top 10 yet. Some other guys from our web.com tour participate there as well and are fairing much better. And although TST is a whole different ball of wax to deal with, it shows me I'm just not at that level yet. When I play with ghosts of the top guys, it is pretty amazing their level of understanding of all the factors that affect shots. 210 yard shot across water to a very firm island green...I can get the ball to the area...but they are cutting it in with loft where it stops near the hole. I'm an ultra-competitive person by nature. I could never just go hit a tennis ball around or shoot hoops - something has to be at stake for me. But I'm also the type of person that wants to feel I can compete, and I can get discouraged when I'm not even close to competing. So, I get the perspective of not wanting to participate up in the big leagues until someone feels they are ready. Jared was ready. He's consistent and showed quickly he was a bit above the folks here on the tour. Others having just one good tournament might not be because they know that finish is not indicative of what they do each week. I think the tour can be improved too. I also think it is pretty remarkable that what has been provided to us works pretty well. Over time it really does settle down naturally into players in the right skill level areas. The one issue that will never go away is that new players are constantly coming in and some players just fade away. With no real money at stake the goal is to keep the flights filled with enough competitors. So again, I appreciate your comments and your ideas. And I also think a more tactful approach would serve better in these types of discussions.
