Solid scores Jordan - you are certainly on a roll. Good thing is I don't think we will have to worry about you too much longer Jared you mean?

Well, it is always one round. After going -11 in the first round, I somehow go -4 in the second. Hopefully -15 will be enough to make the cut. I then went back to back -9's for a -33 total.
On a positive note, I played round 2 of the TST tonight and chalked up a hole in one and then proceeded to get another in my Web 3rd round right after.

Jason, I think your -15 will be more than safe.

sponsors exempt. -11 first round. 70 2nd LOL. opps. Just missed too many putts. I'll make the cut I think at -12 under but what a disappointment. I think I went 67 then 64. wont be enough to be low S though so back to CC-A next week.

Week 3 is a toughy btw, very thin fairways and a lot of risk/reward. I played a practice round last night and was -11 I believe. That translates into about a -4 or -5 performance for me when it counts. Certainly a couple of holes that can make or break a round.
Played a couple practice rounds last night on Oktoberfest...that course is tough when the winds get up. Played in about 15 mph winds and not sure I hit more than 5 fairways, although granted I was streaming MLB at the time as well so wasn't 100% focused.

one thing about this course is the slower greens with bigger slopes and yet seems firm. Didnt have a problem round one, then started bogey bogey and just couldn't get it going. missed so many shorter putts. Hole number two was baffling, hit the ball with a partial flop, behind the hole and dang ball rolled all the way off the green. Not even sure how that is possible as I didnt loft at all. Then on, I think the 3rd par 5, had 45 yard to the hole, cross wind, and hit normal pitch and the ball ended up 5 yards short! Sometimes I think this game trolls me!
Anyway just left way too many shots out there and starting bogey bogey in the 2nd round wasn't the best start one could hope for.

I hit 3 wood off the tee on #2, bcs it left me 45 yard pitch instead of the flop which was darn near impossible to prevent coming off the green. Even with the pitch I would have that 14' uphill put that required a Howitzer to hit it hard enough. LOL

Just kidding, wish I thought to play that one smarter. I tried a bunch of stuff and always left myself a long putt. Above the hole was near impossible for me. At least below you could slam one in. I like slow greens in real life but really struggle with them in this game.

Yeah, that course is not easy with higher winds for sure. I played the 'Sunday' version last night. I hope that is not part of the tournament coming up because there were a bunch of holes where the tee boxes were moved significantly and it leaves you hitting over trees. One was a par 3 with a postage stamp size green and the flag directly behind the tree....12-15 wind blowing into the tree. Crazy shot. Another was a par 4 where you could take it over the tree but trying to keep it in the fairway will be tough. I managed a 61 again with the higher winds. But that's just practice. I'm really going to just try and not be stupid and make the cut this week.

Either had a slightly delofted LW pitch or a slightly lofted SW pitch that I wanted to land about a yard past the hole. My problem hole was #15 with the backstop. No matter how right I aimed, the ball always ended up just left of the flag (even when the ball was sloping downwards to the right) and ended up stopping on the red part of the slope, leaving me with what I imagine is an actual impossible putt to sink. The worst is I know it's an easy birdie hole if you just hit right of the flag. I don't know why the ball doesn't come down from the massive slope on the left side.

Had that happen to me on one round on 15...went a little long and left and just waited on the ball to come back it didn't.. I had an UNREAL birdy attempt
A round later I almost went directly over the flag, maybe a couple inches right, son of a gun launched backwards like a rocket...
I had the issue on 2 the last round... Tried to hit it several yards behind the green and hope the spin would stop it somewhere near the hole, friggen ball hit way toward the back of the green and went into reverse like a 78 Camaro on steroids and came back almost to where I hit from to begin with..luckily I still got a par on it......
Fun little course ..
