EXACTLY what happened to me on shot I described above...Dead stop right there..impossible comeback.... I had the exact situation, shot stopped on the top of the hill on red beads, refused to comeback for some dumb reason. Today I just a similar approach shot but played it right to left and it hit that ridge and rolled back past the hole, just as you'd expect. There's some funky physics going on with this hole.

EXACTLY what happened to me on shot I described above...Dead stop right there..impossible comeback.... What's funny is someone posted a video earlier in the thread where they landed to the right and it came back nicely into the hole. Great shot, but the slope is the same (according to the grid) so no way it should just stop there. It rolled back for me the other 3 times I played it. Must have landed on an ant hill this time

EXACTLY what happened to me on shot I described above...Dead stop right there..impossible comeback.... this happened to me on 3 out of 4 rounds as well. Leaving a damn near impossible side hill down hill putt. The first round I hit the ball just right and it was a easy birdie, not sure why that ball rolls up the slope, but doesn't come back down....maddening.

It seems for me, with the fairway lie and wind, the ball just moves left, My fourth round i played the shot two grids over and still went left! It weird because the ball rolls, then goes slightly up the slope and just hangs there, it should not be doing that at all.

I've had similar issues on 15 on practice rounds and then on the real thing I left it in the bunker short. Missed the green by two inches on one attempt. I've done rounds 1 and 2 now
1st round, very solid, usual birdie chance misses. I can't putt from 5 foot on the first. Missed that one both rounds. I had some amazing par saves and managed no drop shots all roun. 7 steady birdies and no eagles gave me a -7 which I was happy enough with. 2nd round started in a similar fashion fashion but I generally played better and was around -5 at the turn. I got my first bogey on the back 9 but followed it up with a good birdie. I then bodied 15 and I was -5 with 3 to play. I managed to finish with 2 birdies and an eagle for a stronger -9
-16 through 2 rounds should put me close to a top 25 and in touching distance with most of my rivals. I have lost track now so feel welcome if you want to tell me how much you are beating me by. I know I'm close to levelling it with yaters.

I'm thinking I'll miss the cut with a stink-fest -12. My last two rounds weren't any better. I believe we are officially level at this point, but I'm going to have more virtual golf money than you which is the ultimate measure of any rivalry. HA!

Has anyone formulated a guess as to what the cut will be? I think I'm on the wrong side of it, but I'd be interesting to see if anyone had any predictions...

My guess would be 10-12 under.

EXACTLY what happened to me on shot I described above...Dead stop right there..impossible comeback.... Same thing happened to me in Round 2. Fortunately I was DIRECTLY behind the hole, so my putt was mostly straight down that silly slope. I aimed a little left, touched it as light as possible, and it slammed into the back of the hole.

LOL I wasn't so lucky... Hit back there stopped, I had to aim almost straight left...Gently tapped it, and the son of a golf ball, rolled so gently just outside the hole, as most of my misses do
This time however, I didn't cuss, just laughed and went on my way....
Well and I didn't want to hear my wife from the other room yell
"REALLY? ITS JUST A GAME"
Sheesh, she just doesn't know does she gang? lol

Oh man, having to putt from the middle of that hill would just be deadly. I was the one that holed out on that hole on a perfect-speed, perfect-ramp shot...and obviously got way luckier than you guys. I aimed to run it up the hill every round and only had it stop once, at the bottom of the hill above the hole. Personally, this course was just a bit below standard for me. Played alright but there's a couple weird quirks and anomalies that can throw off your round through no fault of your own (fringe in the middle of green found, super steep hill on 17 that you can get stuck down). Now, it also had some very fair quirks (like hole #2 with its back-to-front slope), that rewarded you for practice and patience...but something just seemed off about this course in general.

Haha. Yes. Exactly. The fiance was in her office (room next to mine) working on something, and heard me muttering to myself. "Did you three putt Josh?" ".. No" "Just checking..." I don't think I've ever played a single player video game that's caused me to talk to myself this much.

What I hear when I am playing a country club social on xb1 and in a party talking is "you know their not really your friends" like their make believe. Lol! Also, me and everyone playing are also "nerds." They just don't understand sometimes.

66 63 after two rounds for -13. I hope to make the cut of course, but even if I do, definitely not looking forward to playing last two rounds. While I certainly appreciate the work put into creating this course for our enjoyment, I'm finding it difficult to enjoy it.
