Was chasing Gavlaar the entire time and faded away at the end. Actually showed some moxie though. I was sitting on the 16th tee box in the first round, I had stumbled my way to -2 up to that point. Just terrible. Figured I was destined to get cut unless I made something incredible happen. Well I finished the round birdie-eagle-birdie to get it to -6, incredibly. I carried that momentum over into round 2, where I tore up the early holes and the late ones, including this shot that produced a huge yell and fist pump that scared my dog. Sorry Max.
Finished round 2 with a 59. My first round in the 50's since joining tours, so that's nice. Round 3 was actually good too, up until a bogey on 18 dropped me to a 61. Round 4 I had a hard time with some of the winds and my putting let me down for an other 65. Not enough to contend at the top, -34. Will definitely take it, but hopefully the next course agrees with me a bit more.

This is the first time I've ever played a tournament before the official opening on the Monday. Where do you guys enter your scores? You just have to wait until Monday. Haha OK thanks I had a feeling that would be the answer but thought I'd check anyway.

had to play all 4 rounds as I'm away all week. Shot a 57 (-13) for R1, not as good for the next 3 & finished with a -30 & I think I had a H-I-O, but forgot to save it due to rushing

Up with you guys on an exemption this week which I wasn't expecting as I had already played the first round as a warm up for my CC event. I hit -40 on the cc event so the warm up worked. It was only then I realised I had an exemption and had to play the web tourney. I tried to recover it but only managed a -29 . Oh well see you next time I get an exemption, hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

Your scoring was outrageous on that course. I defo think you should be in web at least

Just wish I had realised the exemption was there . Never mind getting used to being the "nearly" player. The following weeks Cc tourney at pebble beach I have being averaging -12, so shouldn't be too long a wait for another go.

You should have no problem coming up and staying up man I always struggle against your ghost ball in all those practice tournaments especially if your averaging -12 on next weeks pebble beach, could be a trophy in the bag

I tried getting the right position on that green every round and only managed to have it roll back nicely once.

The nice thing about the way this is all set up is it naturally filters players to the right tour over time. I'm up here and still feel very much over my head. It has forced me to understand parts of the game I didn't pay attention to previously. I did well the first week but just had huge mental brain farts on this week's course. I'm no where close to consistent at all. Sounds like you are getting there so I expect to see you up here permanently very soon.

I've played the course close to 20 times and I've never had the ball come back as far as the level of the hole, certainly not into the hole! Perfect mix of wind, approach, and green angle for that hole-in to happen. Well done!

Fresh off a top 10 finish in my Web debut and I didn't play well this week. My driver was erratic and I couldn't sink a putt. I shot a 66/65 for a -11. I'll wait to see the cut line before I finish. It's a long season!

Hoping the cut line is -9 (it won't be, but I'm praying!).
