Added a PDF I found from 2013 that has a majority of the current rules - been some tweaks since then (2014) that were taken into consideration too. Attachments:RaceToDubai.pdf (264.28 KB)

If the final tourney has a conflict with the FedEx maybe we should put it off a week?

We're going to tweak the FedEx Cup and the Race to Dubai to cater to the card holders of each tour. The OP has been updated.
Note: To qualify for the Turkish Open, BMW Masters and World Tour Championship you must hold a European Tour card or have won a European Tour event this season (includes majors and WGC) in addition to the requirements listed in the original post
Similar rules will be in place for FedEx Cup

Would not be fair on players who have slogged away all year on the PGA to have their spot in the playoffs taken by someone who's only played 3 times

Yeah, I think its fairer that more of the regular Euro Tour players should get the spots for the Race to Dubai events even if that's not exactly how it works in real life.

So there's no chance of anyone 'doing the double' like Henrik Stenson?

So there's no chance of anyone 'doing the double' like Henrik Stenson? I would imagine if you have been playing both and doing well, you have a much better chance. Since there is no limit of cross overs you could have played a half season on both. Luckily for people who have one majors, like myself, as long as you qualify in the money department of the Dubai side and the Fed ex points, you can play on both. Unfortunately, because you need to be ranked in the top (XX) of both, you have had to do well when you have played on both tours, won at least one tourney on each side or won a major. From what I understand the original intent was to make it difficult for players to play on both otherwise there was no reason really to have separate tours. When the tours allowed unlimited cross overs, they knew this was a possibility, but then those that excel like Henrik shouldn't be penalized.

Ah I see. So if you have won on the tour you're not listed on you can actually enter and win both ala Stenson. Sucks for the players who played half on one and half on the other but didn't win. Makes sense though. Anyway, I'm getting ahead of myself as I've played zero on each so I'll butt out :-p

It is tough to do so I expect less than a dozen people who could play on both. There are several people from the PGA that have won a Euro event but only played 3 times or so.

Yeah 12 events minimum and be top 60 on the euro side for the finale. Won't be many that have played that many events on the euro side and still be high up in the FedEx cup standings I should imagine.

So there's no chance of anyone 'doing the double' like Henrik Stenson? PGA card holders that have won on the Euro, a Major or WGC event will be able to do this (assuming they meet the qualifications of the final event else it's just the first 3). Vise versa will apply for FedEx Cup playoffs

Majors, WGC) and listed under the top 125 in FedExCup-Rankings to be qualified for the Barclays? If i am right, i think it is a fair solution...I would ask if we have the possibility to achieve more than one Tour-Cards for the next season. For every Tour Card you gain, you are committed to play at least a minimum of e.g. 15 Tourneys on your Tour in a single season or you loose the Card and you can't participate in the final stage of this tour. Would probably mixing up the fields a bit. I hope you understand what i want to tell with my bad english.
