HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I HATE THIS GOLF COURSE. (67, 70, 79, 79 = +15) I watched your stream the other night and thought it was entertaining. I think if you played it patiently as opposed to blitzing through it you would've scored much better. The first two rounds are proof of that. I always play it that fast. Literally ever round I play. The end I just wanted to get through it as I was tired of playing. Firm and fast with tucked pins, 10-13mph winds in the worst direction contributed to this. Would be interesting to see the course without that one set of trees and also on a firmness in between firm and medium. Thanks for coming out to the stream though, that is greatly appreciated.

After a tough first three holes I would say that 4 and 5 give you an opportunity to get some strokes back or get under par. After that, #8 if you play the slope back-left of the green. It'll come back to the pin. Then #11 and #15 if you don't get overly aggressive. The par 3 13th is a decent chance if you play short-left on the green and let it feed back to the hole. A chip in from the back of 13 is highly possible too. I shanked one of my approach shots on #8 left in a practice round up there and it rolled to within 5 feet. I was like..."Yeah, I meant to do that!"

Started out with my best play of the tour at -5 through the first 4 holes in round one with an ace on the third hole. Faltered the rest of the way through with a 68.
68-79-78-72

It's a hard par hole unless you have tailwind that gets you past the dead part of the fairway that's impossible to hit. Pin is tucked and green is really tough.

It's actually something I was trying to accomplish with this course. For people to lose patience. I regret if anyone feels that it was "tricked up". Certainly never my goal. I'll admit that the trees on #14 were a mistake. I tried to fill out the course with autogenerated trees and those somehow escaped my final review.

Had 10 to 18 mph winds during all 4 rounds. Was somewhat pleased with my 73 first round, but it all went to shite from there.
I got so sick of this course during the 4th round that I just stopped caring what happened. It's rather evident with my score. Lol
I'm gonna go back and play a practice round with one of the leader's ghost balls to see how these guys play this course. Maybe I'll learn something that will help me down the road.
This course stole my jock!

I'll admit that the trees on #14 were a mistake. I tried to fill out the course with autogenerated trees and those somehow escaped my final review. It only feels tricked up with those winds. Honestly I have a problem with the winds in this game. I feel they are often much to high and that the winds affect the ball much more then irl. I have played it in lower winds and it helps. But there was one hole where the wind was in my face and the only part of the fairway I could reach was very narrow and if you didn't land exactly on the far right side of it you would roll all the way off the left. I felt that was a bit unfair as I already had like 20+ more yards in than the other guys. Obviously you can't please everyone and cannot spot every mistake or issue you could say. There are tons of people who enjoy your course and you should be proud of that, I'm just not one of them. Doesn't mean I hate you as a person or anything.

Hey. CC-A player here. Remember liking this course during the playthrough of US Open contest courses and thought I'd have a go to see how I could play through 4 rounds. 77-70-75-75. It was the tee shots that caused me most problems. Fairways bit too narrow. So many times I ended up in the heavy rough. Other than that I thought the greens were a brilliant attempt at making tougher greens. I like the course. There needs to be tougher greens like these for sure.

This course is not tricked up, it's just hard. Good job Pirate. I shot 67 - 67. Only hit 44% gir. I just tried to leave my misses in good chipping areas.

That was the least fun I've ever had playing this game. 70-82. Couldn't finish my second round fast enough! Good for you guys who enjoyed it and/or played well.

I've played 3 practice rounds so far and have scored E, +2, and I just shot -5 a little while ago. All oddly enough in around 8 mph winds. I think I'm starting to accept and even like the firm/fast courses. I seem to play better at them. A score in the mid to high 60s is certainly not out of the question, but your short game is gonna have to be an A+.

That was the most fun I've ever had playing a tournament on TGCT. This course has split the community straight down the middle and I just absolutely love it. Thanks Phil for making this great course. I have never fist pumped and swore so much whilst playing four rounds of video golf! I played some great shots, some poor shots, got some good breaks, got some bad breaks and generally putted well even though I left a few out there that I should have made. I wish that we could play courses like this every week. I started playing RGT because I was tired of having to shoot -60 to compete. Lately the scores have been going silly there which is making me lose a little interest in it, so to play an event where all the help is on and 90% of the field are shooting less than -10 is just fantastic. The closer we can get to real life scoring is what I've always wanted in a golf game. I was grinding over every shot, bogies were in inevitable(I made ten this week) But the joy of clawing the shots back was something completely new to me playing this game, I actually felt nervous over nearly every shot, how it should be. I shot 66,66,66,67 for a -15 total. I know it's not going to be a winning score, probably a top 5 though. But I am pretty happy with it despite shooting -7 in a practice round just before playing this tournament.

I really appreciate the comments and compliments. To replicate the true feeling of championship golf (as much as you can in a video game) where execution of each shot is pretty simple is a difficult task. In hindsight there are a few things I would've done differently, but the overall goal was achieved I believe.
