My entry for this year's Dream Team (Team Matty). A huge shoutout to my team, I appreciate each and everyone of you! Welcome to Old Hundred, where the echoes of history meet the tranquility of nature, and every tee-off is a journey through time. Carved out of a once-thriving sand quarry, Old Hundred stands as a testament to one man's vision and passion for the game. Nestled amidst the rolling hills of Scotland County, NC, our course beckons with its unique blend of rugged terrain and natural beauty. As you step onto our fairways, you'll be greeted by the imposing grandeur of the sand quarry, a striking feature that looms large over the landscape, serving as a constant reminder of the course's storied past. From the open expanse of the quarry to the lush embrace of the pine forest, every hole at Old Hundred offers a new and exhilarating challenge, inviting players to test their skills against the ever-changing backdrop of nature. But Old Hundred is more than just a golf course; it's a living tribute to the willful spirit of those who dare to dream. Follow the carefully curated routing as it winds its way through the heart of the quarry, offering panoramic views that will leave you breathless, before leading you into the serene embrace of the wooded pine forest, where the whispering pines and dappled sunlight create an atmosphere of pure magic. Come, experience the timeless allure of Old Hundred, where every swing tells a story and every putt is a testament to the enduring legacy of the game. Welcome to a golfing paradise unlike any other. - whos plot is this?
- did heisy show you how to make steam, he always has steam. I saw steam on the clubhouse chimney. How do you make steam? Are there any funny easter eggs by the other redish building with bigger smokestacks past the sand that I couldn't zoom in on?
- Domesticated moose ranch, makes total sense. I tried to land a golf ball on one so that I could play my next shot standing on its back but like every other shot I hit...I found a bunker instead. Can I equestrian the fence and ghost ride one into some sand please, I'll stay off the fairways, promise. Always wanted to ride a Moose, it would be undeniably gangsta
- 17 crushed me. I liked the green and the little boomerang sculpt in the front run up. Looked like a great punch opp to the front pin and then of course I hit too much club and had to contend with that ginormous red hill in the middle of the green. Think I had like 75 feet up and down it. Then like 125 feet after it didn't make it up. Then a flop from the back fringe after it finally rolled off the green on the third attempt. Refuse to take divots out of greens. Some nice punchbowl greens, felt a bit the Ohopee but different vibe on the textures. Liked the pines. We approved it. I'm liking this team's stuff thus far...

Love all the sand and great colour selection for it to make it not too contrasting.
