Welcome to the "Wicker Club," a secluded golf haven straddling state borders. Originating in the early 1910s, the estate was first acquired by the wealthy rock magnate, Richard Hardwood, for tax-saving purposes, ferrying stones from his quarry to affluent clients across state lines. As Prohibition loomed in 1918, Hardwood, in collaboration with architect William Flynn, ingeniously repurposed the land into a golf course, clandestinely doubling as a conduit for bootlegging liquor across the state line during countryside picnics. The club's name, derived from the wicker baskets concealing contraband, nods to its colorful past. Today, it stands as a prestigious private course, celebrated for its history and world-class golfing experience. Big thanks from everyone on team Petty for the input, really learned a lot from you guys. Also full credit to trailducker for the logo and routing pic & InThisStyle for the teaser video. They did a great job on those. Inspiration is for this course is William Flynn designed golf courses, including Merion, The Country Club, & Manufactures among others. Good on any wind, but warning East High wind might have you hitting driver on the 11th par 3 if playing to a back pin. (Note: William Flynn often built par 3s requiring driver in his day, so you can blame him for that one.) One last note: The gold tees are the "Match Play tees" and have been playtested so every par 4 is drivable in neutral wind conditions with the longest driver. Think they're a lotta fun and will be good to play with friends.

Had a blast designing on your plot, so many great golf holes just a matter of finding the right ones. Really looking forward to seeing what everyone else puts out on it.

This was a fun challenge, love the slopes around and on the greens. Felt like genuine Flynn

Really really good stuff here and think it would be even more fun IRL than in game. Nailed the classic feel and hope to see a ton more from you in the future.
PS, sorry I was no help at all being the console player😞

Can't wait for your publish so Team Petty can keep the full court press going.

Really cool environment, I'm really enjoying the challenge you guys had with being given a plot. Struggled early but one of the most exciting finishes to a round!

As always thanks for the playthrough Sandgroper. Thought you had gone full Scottie Scheffler with the putting woes on the front, but pulled it together for a real tale of two 9s. Loved that you embraced the shot shaping which was exactly what a lot of the hole design call for. Cheers and look forward to seeing all your playthroughs in the contest.

Really enjoyed this and a great step up on your previous courses imo - best of luck (just not too much, you know?)

Didn't fancy replying before my own course on this plot was out, but better late than never I suppose. Had lots of fun here, especially the approach shot on the first par-five (3?) stood out as a shot I remember, it's one of those times when you truly kick yourself if you miss the fairway, not because the eagle chance went down the drain, but because you lost your chance at an excisitng approach shot. Well done buddy! Like Ben said, good luck - but not too much.
