25 WDs this week. This has to stop. Totally agree. It's very annoying knowing how much work Tim and the team have put in. I think it is great what the team have done on tgc tours and could not complement them enough for their efforts but i do think there will be a number of WD's each week no matter what. Playing this game is not a full time job and there will allways be things that happen after registration that make somebody not be able to play or register their rounds due to unforseen circumstances. I know alot of us come up with great ideas to better tgc tours overall but lets be realistic on this one. We all have different lives away from this game. Many find it easy to get the rounds in everyweek and im sure many struggle. So it would be unfair to punish people for having a life where change happens more that average joes.

Unfortunately I had to WD this week. I went to play my rounds Thursday evening and that is when the update came out. It took over 5 hrs to download, so I missed the deadline.

I understand that things come up. I would expect maybe 5-7 people have something come up in a week. BUT YOU HAVE 6 DAYS TO GET SCORES IN. So what is with the other 20 in this case? Did they have bad scores and didn't want to post them? Do they not care about this tour?

I would guess that a lot of WD's are people who know they will miss the cut and don't bother posting.

How about this: add a "WD" function on the submit scores interface. If there are really reasons for the WD people should at least have time to jump on the site and click a link.... Doesn't even take a minute, and in today's smartphone world can be done from anywhere.
No shows to be punished without a strike system.
IRL a WD is a withdrawal - make it the same here. Why not call the no shows DNP?

Still would be abused by those that shot high and don't want to submit - they'll just click the link and get a free pass With 8 DQ's in a season, that's plenty of wiggle room for legit things that pop up.

I would guess that a lot of WD's are people who know they will miss the cut and don't bother posting. That's the problem. Nothing else. It's not the few people a week that registered for a tourney and were abruptly @!$#ed up by something in their real life, so they couldn't play/finish their rounds in time. A high percentage goes to those suckers that actually score bad and don't have the balls to actually submit the score and make it public. I personally don't get it what could happen to me if people see I scored an 80 (come on guys, even Tiger does score above 80 ), but to a few individuals this seems to be an ego problem or so.

Looks like a T6 for me for my 3rd top 10 in a row and 5th total. Finding my form heading into a major thankfully. Really wish I wouldn't have bogeyed the 72nd hole though so I could've had my 1st top 5 lol. Great win by Tyler. Unreal score at that course.

Kicker is I posted an even better score at Majestic than Spanish and will probably end up like 15th-20th place. Oaks are different from course to course haha.
