So I went to log on to play my rounds for the week and it says the game needs an update. Sooooo, since my internet is super slow (I live in the Virgin Islands), I am hoping the game updates before my time runs out!!

Wow shocked my -11 made the cut. I missed so many birdie putts and had about 5 bogeys. These types of green hardness are just not realistic. At least course dev put flags in places that allowed us to land 25 yards short and roll ball up. But when full wedges bounce forward 10 yards and roll another 10 is not realistic. 8 irons rolling 20 yards is insane. Please TGCT stop having us play greens like this. Give us real, realistic hard courses that don't need insane green bounce just to make it a difficult course. Green bounce and roll would only be like this in a British Open in Exreme dry conditions. And I hv only ever seen one of those on tv in my 49 years of watching and playing golf.

Couple of things...Which pins did you find to be inaccessible? On any single day in a normal tournament there can be a few that you really shouldn't play directly at. I really don't think that's the case on any of these holes. Also, it's quite an exaggeration to say that wedges are bouncing 10 yards. I've played this course dozens of times and have never seen that. Unless by chance it hit the backside of a mound.

I am at my friends place. We both play the same tournaments and coach each other. In round 3 he had totally different Wind conditions than in round 4. We switched to my third round and...I had the same Wind than him in his third round. That would not habe happened before the patch! The wind would have been the same in any round played in the same "time window". So it seems that the wind is locked in for the round. As the wind in round 4 is 15-17 mph that is definitely not a fair competition any more.

Should be fun i still have to play those rounds too. But if that is the case it is definitely unfair competition. swings and roundabouts. I agree it isn't fair but it is completely out of tgctours hands when they applied the update and it could have also gone the other way just as easily and been 1-2mph winds

Not much we can do about it - had just a good a chance it would be 0-2mph and others than finished earlier would have made the same post. At this point everyone is just going to have to deal with the cards they've been dealt this week. Next week should be a much better experience.

Interesting. I still have to play my last two as well. 15-17 mph could be brutal on this course. Should be fun though.

Man, it is the first tournament in months that I really compete and now this *****. It is not that easy to accept. I have played this course for a week now and before the update it was never worse than approx. 10mph. Always fair. Just the directiom really changed. 15-17 mph with these roughs is hell.

This happens to be people every week who wind wait or can't play their final round until late and the wind is blowing. It happens. Next week there will be no more of this, but you can't expect a cancellation of a tournament because of some winds. lol I had to play in those winds at the Conservatory Club in my final round.
