Okay, so not questing for victory like the event name tells, but my realistic quest is for promotion by the looks of it!
-6 through 2, round 1 was by far the better of the 2 since that's where that score came at. With slightly better luck on the putter, would be in top 5 heading to the cut deadline which is just mad to think about.
Being this high up is actually quite fun, even though it gives me the jitters way too much and increased pressure to keep doing well! Why haven't I done this much before?

Pretty sure I will miss the cut. A triple bogey in each of the first two rounds has doomed me. Greens are just brutal for me. All to often, hit the green in regulation only to have a 50+ foot putt over two hills and with a hard left. Left hoping I can just get it close enough to have a reasonable par putt. LOL
However, a well designed course that is a fair challenge.

I can definitely get on board with the greens, too often it looks like I might get it within 10 feet for a good putt, only to look at it slide another 25 or so further away! Those putts you're left with are the worst, at that point I just hope I go over the 75 foot rule so I don't have to bother trying the impossible!

So, this is it. The week I've been looking for the last month now?
I'm not going to lie, I've never felt the kind of pressure that I have before. Even though I would have just needed to play my basic game and stay out of trouble, I still wanted to finish as strong as possible, and I did that and then some.
Round 3. My putting was out of this world. 1 per hole average. 16 out of 18 holes with just 1 putt. 1 with 2. 1 with a chip in from the fringe, skipping it entirely. 10 in the front nine, 8 in the back. Never been more on point than this, although my approaches surely helped some as well. 6 under and most pressure off my shoulders.
Final round I focused on playing the safe game. If at any point it looked like I wasn't going to make the putt, I didn't force it and took a safe 2 putt instead. I also made fully sure to do anything it takes to stay away from trouble, whether it's water, heaviest rough, anything. That said, safest, bogey free 6 under I've ever shot in my life.
Finished -18. 3 -6s and an E. Looks like top 5 for me, top of the PC leaderboard in this flight. What a week. Promotion to CC-I for next week. It's been a fun last 3 months or so on here. This is where my journey began after qualifying all the way in the first week of October, and I now look forward to that next step. Hopefully our paths cross again in the higher flights sometime soon! I have belief that with this group in here, it's only a matter of time before that happens!

That’s great scoring, congratulations, good luck in CC-I!
I’m just clinging onto 10th spot at the moment. Might not finish in the top 10 once everyone’s finished, but looks like i’ll be picking up my first promotion mark :-)

Thanks man! Looks like you just missed the top 10 and with that the double, but congrats on the first mark! They're not exactly the easiest things to get, so whenever you get one or even as many as two, you've done really well!
Good luck going forward to each and everyone over here! I'll be rooting for this group from above and wishing for the best!

Really liking this course this week by B.Smooth13, feels like it could be a real course. Third week on the tour going for a win. Should be in the top 5 going into the weekend. My putting has gotten a lot better, only missed three putts I felt like I should've made so far through two rounds. Best of luck to everyone, play well!

Hi guys, just moved up from K and this is my first week and looking forward to getting to know one and all and good luck this week 👍 Just finished my first two rounds and just managed to make the cut with two -1 rounds so sitting at -2. Had a bit of a nightmare on first tee of the second round and whilst the game was loading I was swinging the stick to feel my rhythm and the game had started and I hit my drive 2 feet and ended with a double bogey on hole one 😂 I was not laughing at the time mind you and thankfully managed a few birdies to recover and see me through to the weekend.

Shot a disappointing Even final round to finish in the top 25. Back to back top 25, but had a chance for at least a top 5 this week. Didn't play well enough. The course played tough with the high winds. Looking forward to next week with the promo event.

Finished my first week in J with a final score of -9 which will place me somewhere around top 50 so can’t really complain at that when after the first two rounds I was only just above the cut line. Had a -1 -1 -5 -2 for a -9 finish. Finally started to feel the swing tempo a little better after all my messing with calibration and although I feel it’s a little slow for my natural swing and get the odd fast it’s helped to get rid of the slows and now just need to train my brain and get more accustomed to it. Good luck all those finishing their rounds 👍

SO I got placed into CC-J after last weeks Qualifier. Which I was stoked about but it was bitter sweet because I decided to already play RD1 early Sunday Morning before getting my e-mail telling me I got my Card. Got completely lambasted by the greens and shot +9 my worst score since the 2nd round of my first Qualifier. Not that knowing I was in CC-J would have changed the out come. But it made the +9 sting even more knowing it was going to be bottom of the barrel for me to start in CC-J. Here's hoping I can turn it around in the second round and maybe make some ground up or at least not leave a bunch of strokes on the course.

Want some extra competition in the form of team play? The Dirtbag league is gauging interest on whether to add two teams to our great competition. We need 8 players to make this happen. It is fun, does not require extra rounds as we play the CC schedule each week. Check out our Dirtbags season 2 thread to see what we are about if interested. Thanks Bill Send me, Dan S and/or Mike Ricks a message. billybudd0623 sandsaver01 dansamp

Close to my best round so far this season. A -4 in Round 1. A double bogey was the only bad mark, and managed to have a makable eagle putt on 18, but ended up with a par. Typically, it seems my ball rolls away from the hole so I end up with a looooong putt. Today, they rolled towards the hole, giving me makable birdie chances. Lets hope it continues in Round2.

Looks like I'l be back in the top 5 going into the weekend despite an awful double bogey in the second round, only one other bogey through two rounds. We'll see if I can keep it up this week. Eagled hole #9 in both rounds. Not the biggest fan of this course, kinda boring, but it is well done.

TGCT Challenge Circuit Soccer League
Add a bit of spice to your Challenge Circuit rounds each week. Play as your favourite soccer team and qualify for the equivalent of the Champions League or Europa Cup. Nothing much required beyond playing your normal rounds each week, reporting your scores and engaging in a bit of good-natured soccer/pixel golf related banter. Already major clubs such as Ajax and Celtic are in as well as minnows such as East Fife and Herne Bay FC.
Worried that you won't be competitive? A crack team of mathematicians recruited from the finest universities in China have developed a balance system so whether you are in CC-A trying for the pro tours or striving for the cut in CC-L you will have a chance.
If you have an allegiance to a club, a CC Tour card and a sense of humour and would be interested, message me.
