+2 on the first round of the Blue Moon Championship. Actually felt like I played pretty good. A few makable putts that were missed kept me from even par or 1 or 2 under. Hopefully will continue into Round 2 and I can finally make a cut after a few weeks of misses. +1 on the second round to finish +3 and miss the cut. Missed three!! putts from 5 feet or under the last round. At the rate I am playing, CC-K here i come! LOL

-17 after all the rounds. Place 29 for the moment. But most impressive is the last round with 100% GIR and 100% Fairwayhits I was hoping for a promotionmark but im just a few strokes behind that level.

Am I the only one who couldn’t putt on this course? Every putt was a sideways breaker that just never went in

Am I the only one who couldn’t putt on this course? Every putt was a sideways breaker that just never went in There were definitely times where I thought the same thing. My stats won't tell that kind of story, but that's only because I really had to count on approach shots getting close for simple tap ins to have a good shot of making putts. Anything longer than 5 feet and I really had to think twice whether or not that would make it. The Sand Pit truly lives up to its name. After 2 rounds, I have no idea how it's saying I shot over 50% on the fairway on both rounds since I genuinely didn't think I shot that accurately and spent more time in sand and rough. My swing plane was super trash on seemingly each drive, and swing tempo was consistent "very fast" like 8/10 times. I can't blame the course though, I wasn't really good enough. I had a feeling struggling after last week's tied top 5 finish was inevitable. However, that said. Practice round again set me up for failure with a +6, only for me to respond with a -5 in the 1st round. I shot really bad through 13 holes, only to then finally pick up some pace with 4 birdies in the last 5. There was a 26 foot putt somewhere in there. My only really good putt attempt that actually made it in from further distance. Followed up with a silent but effective par round to sit at -5 after 2. Cut made, with slightly better play I might be able to rise up the ranks and possibly contest for a promo mark to get me promoted this week. I won't count on that, but I wasn't really counting on being very competitive after the practice round either. I guess I'll see how it goes.

Dreadful finish for the week. Double 77s for a +6 each round, finished up +7. Less said about the rounds, the better.
I don't know, something about my swing timing is really off all of a sudden and I can't seem to catch a break with any putts. Or if I can, it seems like a one off every 15 attempts. I really got to hope I land about 3 feet away so I can tap putts in to save strokes. I don't know how I can go 2 rounds with similar problems and do just fine in the end, to then do 2 more rounds with things going seemingly about how they should go. Maybe I just had a bad day in general and everything's fine next week, but I certainly have no confidence going in.
Good luck to everyone next week, and if you're taking part in the promo event, good luck there too! I know I'm gonna try and see if I could go up through that avenue. However, shooting this bad won't get me anywhere over there.

I finally started hitting perfects on the regular during this tournament. I'm -19 through two rounds, but I faded a bit to -30 after all four. I missed at least a half dozen easy birdie putts in the final two rounds. It doesn't feel like -30 will be enough to hold onto first on this course, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

Amazing I am doing much better in the promo event than I did in the normal league. Did anyone else participate in the promo event?
I ended up -13 after 4 rounds on it, and not sure if they will change which tier I am in or not.

I ended up -13 after 4 rounds on it, and not sure if they will change which tier I am in or not. It was the exact opposite for me. I finished +2 in the promo event and -30 under in this week's standard tournament. I just couldn't get it going in the promo event.

Another week, another missed cut. LOL Just no consistency. If I do manage to hit the green in regulation, I am usually looking at a 30+ foot putt. Birdies are tough, and have to hope I get it close enough to have a reasonable comeback putt for par. May have to spend some time on the driving range and actually (gasp!!) practice a bit.

Two rounds down for this week, and oh my god am I playing some unspectacular golf right now! I don't think I've ever had to fight this hard for two back to back -3s like this, but here we are. I've not been really scoring well on any rounds I've played lately, so somehow fighting against that to even get through the cut feels like a win for me this week. Maybe I just had a good stretch for a while and now I'm back to my normal self, scoring the kinds of rounds I'm more used to. Then again, how can you even hope to score well when you gotta take shots from weird, realistically impossible situations like this? This is the left edge past the green on hole 9 from my second round. Apologies if my golfer gives you nightmares.

Done for the week! Mr. Consistency at work, lineup of -3, -3, -2, -3 = -11. I've felt like I'm getting more consistent, now it's all about knocking strokes out.
A true toughie for me this week, so finishing with that sort of scoreline is actually pretty good! My putting was freezing cold in the last two rounds, I haven't really had that bad putting rounds in a while. If my putting was even a slight bit better, my scores for the last 2 rounds would have been pushing me much higher, but it is what it is. Highlight of the week has to be a sweet eagle in the 12th in round 3, that was nice! Found the most greens in probably ever, I missed just two in regulation in the last round. Considering I didn't hit the fairways at all, that's some good saving.
My promotion event score probably won't let me get any higher than this, so I'm probably here again next week! If anyone gets promoted from here, congrats and good luck in whatever new flight you're in!

Holy hell, has this been a real struggle for me so far.
This week's course is really making me smack my head against the wall since I can't figure it out at all, nor can I find any ways to score. Seems like I only get a handful of chances each round and I really gotta find a way to make something out of those.
Might say something about me as a player that I seem to massively struggle to make one par round in practice even when I try my hardest, yet going into the actual rounds I'm at even through 2, both rounds finishing at E. This has to be the hardest cut I've made and although even as the score right now feels slightly disappointing, I'm just shocked to see myself in good position. I will definitely take that, just happy to pass another test. I'll finish this later as usual, because this time I've been smacking my head into a wall in practice so much I might have an actual headache.

Alright, that's that done for the week. Man, did I not play that well at all at any point.
A tough, challenging course this week for sure. I scored a whopping 1 total round under par and that once again happened to be a competitive round! Round 3 was by far my best, but the conditions and distances should have made it so by default, so nothing too big to make me jump for joy. There was a quick flirt with a hole in one on hole 9, but that missed the tiniest bit. Managed an eagle out of a longer putt though.
Blew up in the last round, but that's what happens when you start off with a lot of bogeys and nothing goes your way. Tough break, but that's what happens sometimes. Finished with a really well played 18th though, so... positive thoughts heading into next week?
Considering this was the toughest course so far (at least in my opinion), I had at some point totally lost my swing timing, and I had the toughest time finding anything good out of any rounds, +4 at the end is honestly a surprise to end up with. I'm not usually very happy with seemingly that bad of a score, but this feels like an exception. Round 3 was a good showcase to myself that maybe I'm finally getting back to a decent swing of things. I just need to play better and I feel like good results are right about there for the taking. Easier said than done, but I'm gonna try! On to next week, that can't possibly be harder than this. And even if it's anything similar, at least this week proves that I can somewhat handle the tougher ones too. So bring it on.
Congrats to the guy at the top with the -30, how the hell did you do that?

It was a tough course. Managed to make the cut (barely), with Round 2 being the hardest by far for me. +5 over the four rounds, but actually thought I played "okay" except Round 2. At least managed to erase a red mark. Hope I can carry this through to this coming week.
