-18 is a reachable target on my course.. with a certain pin set and some home course knowledge, even that can be bested. I dont really want anyone thinking about what par is, just how to get that stupid ball in that tiny hole. Also in my quest to get a minigolf to course to appear on the handicapped list, par has to be high enough as well as the length of the course. That is also part of the reason, the final par on mine is a clean 60 but I'm sure pin 1 and 2 can be done in 40 strokes, if you play spectacularly. Pin 3 is a different conversation. I will say that each pinset does come with a chance at an aceatross. I'm curious to see how long it takes to be discovered I see that some (and maybe many) of the contestants in this competition are putting in more than one pin position. Since I was trying to replicate (to some extent) the real "Putt-Putt Golf" experience at my Family Mini Golf & Games course, and I have never been to a mini-golf course with more than one pin position, I only have one on mine. On a lot of the holes it would be difficult to add more due to the contours of the greens. Will the lack of more than one pin cause me to be lose points? I'm doing it for replay value.. yes we are having a fun competition here but the real goal is for the community to enjoy the work. Since multi pin is not in the requirements of the contest, I dont think it will hurt you, but I also feel like when replay value is considered in judging, multi pin may help you some. Curious to see what Eric says back to this. I'm also pretty sure from the wips that some others are also single pin

Thanks, Ohhey. I hope that is true, because it would require a boatload of effort to add pins and would probably change the course for the worse.

Each hole has a strategy or "perfect" shot designed around where the hole is. If it were in a different spot the hole wouldn't work.

Today's test run went beautifully, nearly hit that 40 mark, missed it by 1 but made 2 pars. All the tracks/chutes are working well. I just hope a squirrel doesnt die in there and snag gdogs ball when he plays! I just can never be 100 percent confident, too many bad experiences making this thing.

One pin set is fine, especially since I never required more. For those of you with multiple pin sets, just tell me which one you want judged for the contest.

More importantly, is there a maximum number of squirrels and goats?

I have 10 squirrels and 5 goats, hopefully this meets the expectations of the judging panel. Unfortunately there was a problem with the squirrel dispatching, as the head goat ranger Eli has disappeared with the full squirrel crew. Can you find them?

Had a little time to add one more hole and play around with some background stuff.

One hole, usually one path to the ace. Skill shots!

Just ran a test and the following occurred after no changes in the designer..
Area that was previously green fringe developed rough in it
A green developed fringe inside of itself
And several greens were resculpted to the point that it broke the hole.
What the F#@%. So naturally I go into the designer to see what's up, and everything is normal.
So uh, well, um.

I was wondering how designing on a smaller scale would work. I've noticed when playing outside of the designer, that the ball sometimes isn't in the exact place it stopped. I could have a putt land against one of my markers and the following shot would be from the side of the marker. Sometimes deflections don't have the same result, I'm wondering if maybe objects are a little off sometimes. Hmmm ohheycat
